The legal age for marriage in Florida is 18 years old. Couples under 18 must have parental consent. Florida residents have a required three-day waiting period. The spouses must present a valid photo ID to obtain the marriage license, which is valid for 60 days. The waiting period is waved with the completion of a Florida Premarital Course.
