Outdoor Weddings
Host your ceremony and reception at our scenic 160-acre park with three distinct venues accommodating 250-700 guests. Each site includes covered areas, seating for 120+, and private camping. Our experienced staff provides planning assistance and resources to ensure stress-free celebrations from 11am-9am events.
Disc Golf Courses
Play on three 18-hole courses designed for all skill levels, including Meadow Ridge ranked Top 30 Globally. Enjoy daily access 8am-8pm year-round with $5 entrance fee covering full-day play. Season passes available for $180 ($120 senior/student) including unlimited access to championship layouts.
Tent & RV Camping
Reserve tent/RV sites with power/water hookups. Sites sleep up to 80 people with amenities including propane-friendly fire pits and nearby restrooms. Rates start at $40/night (tent) and $45/night (RV) with additional charges for groups over three. Book in advance for weekend availability during wedding season.
Rainbow Trout Fishing
Enjoy fully stocked lake fishing with equipment rentals included in $5 entrance fee. Catch rainbow trout priced at $10/pound with mandatory harvest policy. Open May-October 9am-4pm daily except fly fishing season (Oct-May) requiring reservations and specific gear rules.
Picnic Grounds
Relax at scenic lakeside picnic areas featuring tables, BBQ pits, and panoramic views. Reserve Area 1 pavilion for large groups with built-in tables and grills. Available mid-May-October 11am-8pm. First-come spots available daily 9am-8pm during summer months for casual visits.

This place is nice with tall green trees and a small lake. They have lots of peacocks and peahens at the entrance, which is really unique. But at $5 per person it is a bit pricey. The lake is not that clean. If you are a disc golf enthusiast then this may be a good place for you. But otherwise there are cheaper picnic spots near a lake setting around Portland.

Horning's Hideout is a breathtaking place! I had a privilege to perform live music for wedding ceremony and reception on 06.24.22 here. Highly recommend it for weddings, events, birthdays or just to visit! Totally unforgettable experience!

Beautiful place to visit. We took our grandchildren to the lake to catch a fish, and they caught 6 in under 20 minutes! My daughter caught a quick one as well, and they were all a good enough size to eat then for lunch. It was a little deflating to have the experience over so quickly, and it was a little pricey to be able to go very often, but overall we had a good time.

What a beautiful venue! And their name says it all! Would never know a beautiful venue existed In North Plains. The venue has 3 event sites based on your guest list and is perfect for nature lovers! The entrance includes beautiful peacocks to greet you and the drive in feels like your in a fairyland with all the lush green surrounding you. I'm happy I got to experience this place while celebrating family friends tieing the knot!

Love this place! The trout lake is a great place to take novice fishers to catch their first trout! They have all the gear you need and it is included in the fishing price. Just pay for the fish you catch! No catch and release here!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE FOR YOUR WEDDING! Bob Horning is an absolute dick - he swore at women in our wedding party for putting tables on the grass area (that was reserved for tables). He will ride around in his golf cart telling people what they can and can't do the entire time, constantly contradicting the contract he provided. The venue is also unkept and muddy in August/September.
