Unprofessional and extremely rude customer service. Website says the Heart of St. Charles Ballroom venue is available as well as through text confirmation when booking appointment. Apparently has been closed for a couple years.

I truly don't even know how to start this post, but this day was an utter disappointment. I contacted Sheri and Romney, to find out more about this venue. Ultimately, this led us to scheduling a tour, which I confirmed twice through text. When I arrived today I was meet with an absolutely beautiful venue however someone else's big day day was in progress. I had text and called the phone number that had previously been used but I was sent to voicemail.
So in hopes of maybe finding an office or maybe someone who was sent to meet my fiance and I, we stepped inside of the reception hall. No such luck, however there was a very gracious priest who tried to find someone to help and direct us, but even he could not find anyone. After having our fill of being completely out of place and embarrassment we left the venue. Eight hours later I received a text message from Sheri and Romney stating that they had seen my request for a price guide and asked if I would like to schedule a tour. My reply is in the screenshots below along with the two confirmations of time and place. I will not be using this venue and would not recommend that anyone waste their time or money.

The place was beautiful. My problem was the food, which was horrible. They put sugar in the string beans which was unacceptable. You never do something like that due to those that have health issues. I called the owner to talked with her about this and she was extremely rude and ignorant. For the amount of money that was paid the food should have been worth it as well. She needs to learn how to be professional and talk with people. Because of her rude behavior when calling her with my concern I wouldn't host anything here again. I'll take my business else where.

The heart of St. Charles, is a fitting and elegant name for this wonderful place. We recently visited to throw a highschool prom and I should say, this venue was perfect. It has everything you could want and more! I'm definitely thrilled with the place! I can't wait to go back and see the place again, the staff was so helpful and nice to us it only made me love the place even more than I already had! Thank you!

This venue is elegant and extremely spacious. It features multiple ballrooms, surrounded by floor to ceiling windows with gorgeous scenic views of St. Charles, MO. Not to mention, the staff and the food are both amazing.

So happy I chose HSC for my wedding reception on December 1, 2018. The price per plate was the best that I saw in the area. It was beautiful. I dropped off all my decorations 3 days before the reception and told a woman how I wanted each table to be decorated and she did it all for me. The day before my reception I was able to drop by to check out the space (because there was no event the night before.) There was no other events using the upgraded chair options that night so they gave them to me for free.
My coordinator for the night was Kristen and she was superb. Although, I was bummed that ALL of my boxes and tubs that I dropped my decorations off in never made it back to me. I even emailed them to set up a time to get them.

Was here Friday night in the room the overlooks the river it was so beautiful. I was impressed with how delicious the food was I have never got seconds at a wedding reception! The balcony was so awesome I think we spent most of the night out there. So happy for my niece and now nephew
