Rush's burgers are freshly ground to our specifications by Ole Timey Meat Market located just around the corner from our restaurants having no need to be frozen. Other fast-food restaurants may claim their burgers are "non-frozen" yet they truck the meat from hundreds or thousands of miles away. FRESH TASTE is the reason why three generations continue to believe in their local favorite, Rush's Fabulous Food.

We came from simple beginnings and over 80 years have grown into a nationally respected local brand. In 1940, the Rush family operated a little frame drive-in at the edge of their multi- acre dairy farm on two-lane Broad River Road which was the only road from Columbia leading to Lake Murray and the Upstate.

Rush's has a consistent but varied menu: burgers, hot dogs, chicken, dairy treats, and suppers to go. We prefer being authentic, straight forward, and unapologetically NOT a trendsetter. No mystery meat in our establishment. Our food is never frozen or microwaved and prepared right in front of you because you feel more confident seeing what is going on in the kitchen.
