We have made our process as easy as possible, and our Etiquette Guide is here walk you through it. Let's get started! Anywhere from 6 - 12 months ahead of your wedding day. Tell us about your wedding and we'll help you hone in on when the perfect time to mail is for you. We suggest mailing a little later if you're hoping that not all 75 cousins make the drive up from Indiana, or earlier if your destination wedding guest list is only your nearest and dearest.You don't need to have all the details figured out to send out your save the date cards, but you should have a firm date and city.

We recommend mailing your "save the date" cards six to twelve months prior to your wedding date to allow your guests ample time to plan their travel. Wedding invitations should be mailed 8 to 10 weeks prior if your wedding is local or 12 weeks prior for a destination wedding. Plan a 6 to 9 week window for your invitations to be created before your mailing date. If you want to get started sooner, even better! We love savoring the process with an extra cushion of time as well. Why rush through the fun?
