Newport Tent was absolutely great to work with from start to finish. They arrived the day before our party and quickly set up two large tents and a dance floor. Their staff was very pleasant and helpful. When they came back to dismantle the tents after the party, we were not quite ready for them, but it didn't faze them a bit. They just pitched in and helped us get all the decorations put away.

But the most impressive thing was when they showed up during a horrific rain storm and helped dry the dance floor. I was very nervous that we were going to have to cancel the party and he said "you are going to be fine." And we were more than fine.the party was a huge success. We have used Newport Tent before and we will definitely use them again!

We rented several tents from Newport Tent for our recent wedding in Jamestown, RI, including one the day before the ceremony due to rain. Bill and the team were incredible to work with, and their experience made us trust them implicitly. When torrential rains caused the catering tent to flood, Bill, the owner, came in person to our venue to help manage the situation. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Amazing. Don't look anywhere else. The staff at Newport Tent were efficient, responsive, kind, effective and absolutely know what they are doing. We worked with them for a year and a half while planning a wedding and were never disappointed. The end result was exactly as it should have been set-up-wise, and everything we rented was beautiful. Our DJ even commented that the dance floor was the "nicest looking dance floor" he had ever seen. We talked to probably 8 tent companies, and ultimately selected Newport because they seemed like the perfect balance of price, professionalism, and quality. Throughout the whole planning process, setup, and take down, they were extremely professional and flexible with our constantly changing demands. We even had a big snafu where we had to get the tent setup TWICE (long story), and they were very accommodating when we were at our most stressed. Highly recommend them for any event, particularly weddings.

You won't find better service or better tents in the New England area. They are so professional and do amazingly beautiful work. The office team is equally as wonderful and they respond quickly to any questions or needs you may have. Truly the best of the best!

Newport Tent Company provided a 50' x 70' tent, tables, chairs, staging, dance floor and the generator for a backyard wedding. They were fantastic to work with from beginning to end. The owner who made a site visit to verify tent size and location on our property, takes pride in his company and his employees are a testimony to his commitment to excellence. Carl his foreman was exceptional.

And his team of professionals were a hard working focused crew who were very fast without any compromise to safety or aesthetics. Kim and all of the office personnel were so helpful and patient working with me on order changes helping me st a stage last minute to accommodate the ceremony location. Even the town's building inspector who came by the property to sign off on the tent permit (most twin's require a building permit for a large tent structure) indicated that this outfit did a fantastic structurally sound job. First rate. If you are looking for the best in the business than Newport Tent is your choice. They are excellent and competitively priced too. We were very pleased with them from beginning to end.

The generator option is a very good one as well. It is an extremely quiet machine and takes away the stress of wondering if your outdoor party might lose power. We used Newport Tent Company for our outdoor wedding in the forest this past September! Their tent made the venue beautiful! We had spent the entire year leading up to the wedding clearing an area in the woods that is surrounded by old stone walls. When the company owner, Bill came out for our first meeting and to see the site, he eliminated all stress we had about the size, type and logistics of our created venue.

His team was so efficient and professional. In a couple of hours they setup a 60' x 40' tent over a stone wall and trees, setup all tables/chairs and a hardwood dance floor. Bill also took great interest in our vision. He recommended certain center poles that would match the theme of the event in the woods. Guests repeatedly complimented the tent throughout the event. Newport Tent Company was a refreshing team to work with!

I have used Newport Tent on several occasions and con not speak more highly of their services. The owner is very attentive and went over the top to ensure our event went well. A storm came through just before the event and Newport Tent had crews check the tent regularly, however there were no problems. This is the best Company I have dealt with in Rhode Island.

We attended a wedding recently where The Newport Tent Company pitched the event tent. They were extremely negligent in the method in which they placed the tent stakes and how they did not cover, pad, paint or protect people from running into these oversized rusty nails. Someone didn't see them and walked into one of them and injured themselves badly. I would definitely not recommend using them based on their LOW standards of safety. We understand their insurance agent was totally uncooperative and would not disclose the name of their insurance carrier to the injured and told them to sue the bride and groom. Just horrific!
