History, Mission and Vision IXIA flowers opened in 1990 in Evanston, Illinois, under owner Barbara Bellamy. For over thirteen years, our aim has been to supply pretty, clean and unique designs to all our customers for all occasions. As IXIA continues to grow and push the limits of modern floral arranging, we seek the unusual, the unexpected and the delightful, through which we can make exciting new floral designs.
