Our 12 guest rooms across three buildings offer historic charm with modern comforts. The main house features 8 rooms, while the Chicken Coop building offers 3 additional rooms. The private cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen. All accommodations include daily hot breakfast and access to our pool and hot tub facilities.
Weddings
The Fox Den at Briar Patch accommodates weddings for up to 200 guests. Our outdoor ceremony sites include locations at the main house and poolside. We offer customizable packages with venue access, event coordination, and catering options. Special discounts available for last-minute bookings.
Cooking Classes
Seasonal cooking classes led by professional chefs Matt, Doron, and Amanda. Summer and winter sessions available with hands-on instruction. Classes include recipe demonstrations and tasting opportunities. All skill levels welcome in our purpose-built cooking facility.
Event Hosting

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous B&B! Lovely owners, rooms were beautiful & nicely decorated. We would stay here again! Highly recommend this venue for events also we attended our Hunt Ball & didn't want to have to drive home so it was just perfect!

What an experience to stay in such a beautiful historic space! The hospitality was great and the room was cozy and a wonderful fresh cut fruit bowl, eggs and coffee for for breakfast!

Ellen and Dan are incredible hosts! The bed and breakfast is so cozy, and the event space is so beautiful. Our room was very spacious and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay, and can't way to come back.

We had a voucher to stay at Briar Patch from a silent auction win. It was a lovely experience. Dan was very accommodating and made us an amazing breakfast.

Stayed at Briar Patch for a friend's wedding this weekend. It was a great venue for the wedding. The ceremony was up the hill near the horses; afterwards, we walked down the gravel road to the patio for cocktail hour, then inside the beautiful dining room for dinner. Dancing was in the front foyer later in the night. After we were tired, we walked the few minutes to our room in the Hen Coop where it was surprisingly quiet even though the party kept going until 2. Had a great time at this B&B.

Cute, clean lodgings; excellent hosts; delicious food; dog-friendly; and close to everything you'd want to do around Middleburg! We chose Briar Patch because we could bring our dogs, and we were delighted with every aspect of our stay. We will be coming back!
