After spending more than 20 years in the financial services industry, Ellen decided to make a career change by purchasing the farm and turning it into a bed & breakfast and event site. Undaunted by the fact that she knew nothing about the hospitality business, Ellen has wholeheartedly embraced it. She enjoys welcoming guests from all walks of life and seeing them delight in the beauty of this property. Today is our anniversary and it couldn't be better than here at Briar Patch! As we are city folk, being in the country is a blessing.
