I am having a traditional dress made in Nigeria for a relative's wedding, and I needed a local tailor to take my measurements. I had no idea how hard it would be to find a local African tailor, but after a few dead ends I finally stumbled across Mr. Anyiam. Mr. Anyiam used his many years of knowledge and traditional wedding dress-making experience to patiently and thoroughly take all the measurements I needed (and he was the ONLY potential tailor I spoke with who thought to advise me to bring my planned undergarments and shoes to the appointment, which I was glad I did).

He even gave me some feedback to pass along to the foreign designer to help improve the dress sketch. All in all, I was very pleased with this experience. ETA: When I later went to Nigeria and tried the dress on, it fit perfectly in every way! No further alterations needed. Mr. Anyiam really knows his stuff!
