I did not end up using Events by the Bay for my event simply because I had already engaged another vendor just before reaching out. Janette was very fast to reply and her communication was clear and her work looks amazing. I will definitely reach out to her for future events.

What a life saver! Two days before pandemic backyard Thanksgiving, I realized I needed patio heaters. While I expected to find none available, using the Yelp request that goes out to multiple vendors, I found Events by the Bay who not only had two that worked like a dream, they arrived punctually and cheerfully on Thanksgiving day and were picked up 24 hrs later. All like clockwork. Now that I've discovered these wonderful folks, I look forward to hiring them again.post-Covid. for some serious partying.

This review is for the wedding decor items I rented from Janette in September 2019. I didn't use her for her wedding planning services. Janette has a good selection of rental items at a reasonable price. I was looking to rent some small items like candles, chalkboards, baskets, and other misc. decor that are not easy to find at the big wedding rental companies. Overall, her prices were reasonable and she was also able to do custom lettering on the chalkboards.
The reason for minus one star is because of the communication with Janette. Most of the time, she would respond fairly quickly, but other times I would go days without hearing from her and have to follow up. In general, I'd recommend her if you're looking to rent some wedding decor that the bigger rental companies don't offer.

I got married this past weekend at the Outdoor Art Club and Janette is who I rented our ceremony arch from. Let me tell you, it's weirdly hard to find an affordable and simple wooden wedding arch in this town! A lot of the vendors I looked into required minimum fees and their arches were so expensive to rent. Janette's arch was extremely reasonable, and she offered to deliver and set it up as well as strike it down and pick it up at the end of the night. Her website shows the different arch options. She was very quick to respond over email and easy to work with. The arch looked beautiful the day of, and I really appreciated her service!
