Wedding Ceremonies
Host your wedding ceremony at our scenic waterfront locations with multiple options including the Bay Room Patio, Gazebo Hill, or Rivers Chase. Our venues offer seating capacities ranging from 140 to 250 guests with stunning Chesapeake Bay backdrops. Professional coordination ensures seamless execution with included amenities like tables, chairs, and basic decor.
Receptions
Plan receptions with customizable timelines up to 4 hours, featuring banquet services, open bars, and entertainment options. Our spaces accommodate 75-240 guests with included linens, dinnerware, and professional staff. Additional hours and premium amenities available for extra fees.
Dressing Cottages
Access beautifully landscaped cottages three hours prior to events with hair/makeup stations, refreshments, and coordination assistance. Includes steamer, pins, and scissors for last-minute adjustments. Available for both bridal parties and special event preparations.
Catering Services
Choose from pre-designed menus or customize options with dietary accommodations. Services include tastings, two-hour banquet service, and beverage packages with beer, wine, and signature drinks. Professional staff handles food preparation and service.
Outdoor Events
Host picnics, festivals, or corporate events in our waterfront pavilions with capacities up to 2000 guests. Includes picnic-style meals, play areas, and optional entertainment like DJs or moon bounces. Pricing varies by guest count and date availability.
Questions
What services are included in wedding packages?
Packages include venue rental, tables/chairs, linens, dinnerware, basic decor, catering options, and coordination services.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
No outside alcohol is permitted. We offer full bar services with beer, wine, and mixed drink packages.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (with 3.5% processing fee for final payments).
Are there cancellation policies?
Deposits are non-refundable. Written cancellation notice is required with copy of cancelled check.
Do you offer event planning assistance?
Yes, we provide experienced coordinators, final appointment planning, and vendor coordination support.

We had our wedding at Kurtz's Beach and we absolutely loved it. The food is amazing and our guests loved it as well. The views from this venue are so beautiful that hardly anyone wanted to stay inside. The staff here went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.

A Hidden Gem! We recently hosted a party for my daughter's medical school graduation. We wanted a place where people could have an option to be either inside or outside. Something classy, yet not too formal. This not only met but exceeded our expectations! The staff was very accommodating, the room was perfect, and the views were an added bonus! We had beautiful weather so many guests were able to enjoy the private outdoor space. There were other events going on at the same time but they have a great set up that creates a natural separation between the groups. Now. I just need a reason to have another party! :

Ashley & John at Kurtz's are absolutely amazing! I can't thank them enough for everything they had done for my wedding. My husband and I are so incredibly happy with our entire experience at Kurtz's. Everyone was so friendly and so helpful. We could not of asked for a better experience. My wedding was everything I could of ever imagined. The wedding day was smooth, Deb went above & beyond with everything and I can't thank her enough for what she had done. The food, drinks, and desserts were all amazing! Everyone kept saying how beautiful the venue is and how amazing everything was. Thank you to everyone at Kurtz's!

Great place to hold an event. They have both indoor and outdoor venues so they can accommodate any weather situation. The food was so so(3 out of 5) but the staff was courteous and attentive. Would definitely recommend

On May 1, 2022, my family and I held a celebration of life for my husband. Kurtz Beach was the perfect place. They were so patient with my needs. Everything, from the venue, the food, even the staff working the event, , could not have been any better. Thank you Kurtz, , for making this a beautiful day for us! I would highly recommend you to anyone.

It was a wonderful, picturesque location, with perfect Saturday afternoon weather. The food for the catered event was delicious and abundant. Everyone in attendance had the opportunity to eat as many Blue Crabs as he or she could consume. In addition, there were LEFTOVERS! Such wonderful leftovers.

Went for a bull and oyster roast. The pit beef & ham was cold. The Mac & cheese.well never had Cheetos sprinkled on top, just weird. The fresh oysters and stew were great! Now for dessert like a giant sheet cake cut up in tiny pieces. Also bread pudding was available, but there was a can of whipped topping.do it yourself. And no coffee was brewed said it wasn't on the menu.but it was. Well the benefit was for a good cause. And everyone seem to have a good time . As for the food think they should find a new chef.
