The White Dress by the shore was founded in 2004 by Beth Chapman. After a career in fashion retail in New York, Beth decided to take her love of bridal and create the ultimate wedding shopping experience for brides. It is her belief that shopping for your wedding gown should be an intimate and memorable experience - one that is everything you've dreamed of, but nothing you would expect.

Each of our team members loves all things bridal and is passionate about creating an exceptional shopping experience for our bride. Each of our stylists here at The White Dress has been trained as a bridal specialist and are here to guide you in finding the perfect dress! Fun fact about me: I was born in Laguna Beach, California (I am convinced that is why I love the beach!)

Appointments submitted here are a request, and we will contact you to confirm your appointment's day and time after reviewing our schedule. Our appointments are 90 minutes in length, starting from the time we open until 90 minutes prior to when we closed. See below for store hours. When you submit an appointment request for a bridal or sample closet appointment, you will be charged a $25 reservation fee. This fee only applies to first time bridal shopping appointments. This fee is credited back if you purchase a gown from us.
