On top of those shipping time frames, you must also account for alteration time. 2 months for alterations is ideal, so if you order your gown 10 months before your wedding it is the perfect timing - afterall, it never hurts to have it sooner. The extra time can be a ' cushion if there is an unexpected delay, if you decide to add some customizations, or if your wedding date needs to be moved up.
