We are an independent, family owned company founded in 1999. We strive to produce high quality, fresh breads and pastries for our retail and wholesale customers. We source products from local businesses when possible and we believe in giving back to our community through donations and interaction. An Asheville staple for over 20 years, we strive to serve some of the best sandwiches, salads, and soups in town.

Artisan Breads, scratch-made pastries, cakes and desserts as well as great breakfast selections are available 7 days a week.

Available every day. Our wheat bread is filled with the benefits of whole grains with just enough unbleached flour to keep it light and airy. Each loaf is rolled rolled in our seed mixture of flax, pumpkin, sunflower, sesame and poppy. Available as a sandwich loaf. At City Bakery we produce artisan breads formed by hand and baked in a hearth oven for your enjoyment.

Catering

We ask that all catering orders be placed at least 48 hours in advance so that we can make sure that we have all the necessary items in-house for your orders. We realize that sometimes you don't have that much notice and we'll try to accommodate you as best we can!

Here at City Bakery, we believe in giving back to our community through donations and partnerships with local non-profit organizations. Some of the groups we work with are: ABCCM, MANNA FoodBank, Pisgah Legal Services Asheville Humane Society, & various local schools.
