Bring your family into our bakery at 421 S Main St to enjoy a fresh coffee or juice paired with our homemade breads and treats baked with love. In 1951, John Pappas and his family came from Greece to America by boat to start their new life. By 1957, John opened what is now known as Geddes Bakery. The bakery got its name from the town of Geddes, where it had originated in the city of Solvay, NY. In 1963, John moved the bakery from Solvay to the city of Syracuse, and the new building was built at 1830 Teall Avenue on the Syracuse north side.
