When the owner of our venue recommended Mint DJ for our wedding, we researched and decided very quickly that Mint DJ was the best fit for us! Alex was our DJ and was easy and fun to work with. He did an amazing job reading our crowd and kept it lively the entire the night - he even got my Grandpa out of his seat for a bit! Alex knew that we had met at PSU and created a very special moment on the dance floor for us - he played the zombie nation song and our friends and family went wild surrounding us with the "We Are Penn State" chant on the dance floor. It is one of those moments we never expected and will remember forever. Thank you creating such a special moment for us and for delivering an experience beyond our expectations!

We can't say enough about how great our experience was with Mint DJ Events for our wedding! Throughout the whole process, Alex had great communication and made the process easy and straightforward. David was our DJ for our ceremony and reception, and he was great! He was easy to work with, adjusted to some last minute changes, and made the night such a fun celebration. We had so many people tell us how great David was! I would highly recommend working with Mint DJ for your wedding or any big event!

I can not say enough great things about David and Alex Nepa from Mint DJ Events. Alex helped us to book and knew exactly what we wanted. David was extremely professional, passionate and enthusiastic from the start. He helped us to plan every detail of our event and answered every question we had leading up to it. The dance floor ended up being PACKED the entire nights. Complements were flowing! We had such a great time and can't wait to use them again! Thank you David and team!

We were super excited to have mint dj at our wedding leading up to it. We have been to weddings in the past when the dj was a drag and that definitely wasn't going to be ours - or so we thought. We had Kevin dj our wedding and he started out by playing our wrong entrance song. During the dinner we really enjoyed the music he selected. During the speeches the microphone kept squeaking to the point we shut it off.
The music started for dancing and the dance floor was basically empty most of the night. Kevin played rap remixes (we aren't trying to buy your mixtape) most of the night until we told him he needed to stop. We also requested unedited music and that didn't happen until he was told. For the dollar dance - we had 10 people participate because nobody could hear him announce it. He also played Teach Me How to Dougie for the dollar dance - try doing that with an older relative.
After a few days of contemplating, we finally emailed Alex about all of our concerns - so I didn't even include in this review and never got an email back from him. If we would have known this was how it was going to be, we would have paid the extra $300 for Alex.

If there were 10 stars I would check it. Alex made an already perfect day even better. Prior to my daughter's wedding on 10/14/16 all of his communication was prompt and professional. He was so accommodating with a surprise dance we had planned. Even with travel costs, he was comparable with local DJs in the Pittsburgh area. He is very talented and even with not a whole lot of young people he got them all dancing. I used to be an event coordinator and I've seen a LOT of DJs - they can make or break a reception. I would recommend Mint DJ to anyone that would ask. You won't regret it!
