Valley Community Church celebrates the truth that you are God's Image (Genesis 1:26). The core of your Being, the eternal, non-physical part of you often called the soul, is a perfect likeness of God, Himself, with all His Goodness, Beauty, Wisdom, Power and Love. At your core, you are all of that. Earth is a school, where we have the opportunity to learn certain lessons that will help us to express everything we already are. What are these lessons? Just look at your life and see where you're having difficulties; what has caused you pain and also when you've caused other people pain.

Valley Community Church is a spiritual center lovingly serving a diverse, growing group of people. We believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Our primary reason for walking the paths of life is to experience an Omnipresent God and to come to know, first hand, that we are His children, His own, made in His Image.

Our Sunday Celebrations always include talented guest musicians and musical programs that vary from gospel, to folk, classical, jazz and new age. Beverages, tempting snacks and friendly interaction in our Community Room always follow our Sunday morning service. God is all. Both invisible and visible.

Maurita Wiggins was one of the original participants in the Sunday afternoon meetings in the Polfelt living room. She became fascinated with a religious philosophy that did not insult her intelligence, which was practical and that taught spiritual laws that she could prove in her own life. The belief that the experience of God can and should be part of every person's spiritual life was deeply reassuring and, at the same time, intriguing. She became a very active member of the original group, serving in various Board positions and other capacities when needed.

Divine Science is a denomination that was founded in 1885 when Malinda E. Cramer, who had been an invalid for 23 years, had a life-changing spiritual realization. During those moments, the reality of God, Omnipresent, became infinitely more than a belief or a faith. She experienced the Presence of God.
