These are the BEST cupcakes ever! We try cupcakes in pretty much every city, as we travel quite a bit and it's a tradition now. Most are remarkably average, BUT Magpies is AMAZING! The cake product is awesome, the frosting is wonderful (not overwhelmingly sweet, and great flavors), and the flavor selections are fun and delicious! They will be a regular stop for us in Knoxville.

If you're from Knoxville there's no review needed. Magpie's is hands down THE place to get cakes, cupcakes, and sweets. We wanted to do cupcakes for our wedding, and we literally could not pick a favorite and ended up doing 6 different flavors. I almost cried when I found out other guests left with the leftovers because I was greedy enough to want them for myself. Elizabeth was great with communication, always helpfully sending over updated invoices whenever we made changes to our headcount and making sure we were paid out and good to go. I'd eat Magpie's as my sole food if my doctor let me.

Bakery cakes are a delicacy. Magpies cakes and cookies are a blend of exotic decadent delicacy and professional excellence. Third experience with the cakes and went out on a limb for the "sammies". Sugar rush, of course but it was worth every granule. Good prices, a convenient location and a great friendly staff make the experience top notch. Make sure you order ahead or check with them first as a steady stream of customers is common.
