Envelope In 2017, after more than a decade in retail, I decided to slow things down a bit, so what once was a retail boutique became a home-based invitation and design studio. In 2020, partially due to my growing desire to start something new, and partially due to circumstances outside of my control, I decided it was time to shift my perspective a bit. Invitations took a back seat, and marketing and graphic design ramped up as I took on a handful of new clients.

While certain aspects of The Envelope are not what they once were, I still carry several beautiful invitation and stationery lines and offer graphic design services, even if things work a little differently these days.

This is one of my favorites of all time. There is something about gold foil seashells paired with sandy beaches and a lovely sentiment that makes this holiday photo card nothing short of perfect. Kelsey chose one of the contemporary designs from Designer's Fine Press for her wedding invitation ensemble and we ran with it for some in-house accessories, including her programs, menus, and "newlywed advice cards".

On behalf of {our entire} family, thank you for all you have done to make this wedding weekend so special for us. Your creativity and ideas helped pull everything together as you worked with Ari and Josh's vision. We couldn't be more pleased- or wow-ed. Each piece you've created or ordered has an elegance and look that we all just love.

For all of you out there who like to ask questions, here are some answers (they may not be the "right" answers, i.e. if you ask me how to make good guacamole, you probably aren't going to find the answer here). BUT, if your queries are wedding related, or possibly just of the general invitation genre, there is a pretty good chance you may find what you seek.

Sometime in early 2011, my brother gifted me with a Canon Rebel XS. I had no idea what to do with it, so I just started shooting. And while many of those early shots are fairly cringe-worthy, I still like to look back through my photo archives and see how I've grown over the years as an artist. The thing I love most about photography is that it gives me a new perspective-a new way of seeing the world.
