I am disappointed that I have to write this review, but wanted to inform all potential clients that you will NOT receive your deposit back (even if a global pandemic cancels your wedding). Rick kept the $270 deposit even though NO services were provided. Essentially, we paid him $270 for e-mail communication. He was not willing to give back even half of the deposit. The right thing to do would have been to pay the client back since again, no services were provided. Additionally, he was also not willing to travel to the new wedding location despite expenses being paid for. If you are looking to hire a DJ, I suggest giving your time and money to someone more understanding.

We hired Rick for our wedding at The French Estate and he was outstanding! Easy to schedule a meeting with and gives a very comprehensive outline to make sure the day goes exactly how we wanted it to. On the day of, everything went smoothly and he kept the party going at an excellent pace!

My husband and I recently hired Rick to DJ our wedding! He was the first and last DJ we sat down to do a meet and greet with. After having a face to face with him you can just see how professional and experienced he is and thats exactly what we were looking for. He really listened to what we wanted played and he kept the party going the whole time! I would definitely recommend Rick & Black Tie Events to DJ ANY of your events!

Black Tie Events, I hired to host a casino night for my company. I give them 5 stars my employees were so happy to have them there. There tables were in great condition, on time, very nice and dealers were superb! Would recommend to everyone!
