Candy Haven is a locally-owned, family business that has been operating for over 37 years. We are an all occasion custom cake shop. Our cakes are fresh, never frozen and beautifully decorated. We take pride in creating a cake for every special occasion in your life. Jane Boyle first opened Candy Haven in 1983 in a small shop. Since then, she's expanded her cozy shop to better meet the love that our customers have given us. Our cakes have earned numerous awards throughout the past 37 years, thanks to the wonderful Denton community that has spread our name outside of our hometown.

Please keep in mind that we do not set up wedding cakes outside - they've very sensitive to Texas weather! You'll have a full hour to try our most popular flavors, talk with our wedding consultant, and design your cake. If you have a picture of a cake or color swatch you'd like us to reference, please bring it with you.

Special Occasion Cakes

Our double layer cakes are 4 tall, leaving plenty of decorating space on the sides, and just enough on top for a simple message. We'll fill the space between the layers with the same icing used on the outside of the cake. This refers to coloring the entire cake - writing is no additional charge unless color needs to match a swatch.

Candy Haven blew me away from our initial cake tasting to our wedding day. They provided us with so many different cakes and fillings to try for our wedding and groom's cake. We had a four tier traditional buttercream wedding cake and an Oklahoma State University groom spice cake. When my husband and I cut the cake we were in awe with how amazing the cake was. You have to book them! Thank you for making our dream wedding come true!

We're located next to the Fort Worth Drive / I35E intersection, just off the service road. If you're on the highway headed in either direction, take the Fort Worth Drive exit, and look for our sign and big red building! A cake layer is roughly two inches tall. A double-layer cake has two layers of the same diameter stacked together, with either icing or filling in between to hold them together.
