Welcome to House of Broel's Victorian Mansion and Wedding Chapel, an architectural gem that is an impressive feat of engineering. In addition to being beautiful, the house is also very interesting. The original two story home built in 1850 was elevated in 1884 by Wm. Renaud, who added the magnificent first floor as a spacious setting for family weddings, receptions and parties.

My husband Matt and I held our wedding reception at your mansion and I just wanted to let you know that we thought everything was wonderful. We have received so many compliments from our guests about everything from the ambiance to the food. Everyone we have spoken to has said that it was one of the most fun wedding receptions they have been to.
Meet Bonnie Broel

Ms. Broel started her business in New Orleans over 35 years ago by making dresses to order for her clients. This came easy to a woman who could sew before she learned to write. After buying her first re-orderable dress line, the rest became fashion history. Moving from a small store on St. Charles Avenue, she purchased a sadly neglected antebellum mansion further up the street and restored the home to its previous majesty.
