We've all been told by parents, teachers, and sales managers that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Is your Facebook or LinkedIn profile a selfie taken in the car? We can do better than that. My clients have included professional musicians and actors, lawyers, financial planners, and college students applying for their first job.
One of the things that initially drew me to portraiture was looking at the work of photographers like Edward Sheriff Curtis, Yosef Karsh, Paul Strand, and Irving Penn. Many people that we remember - like Curtis's subjects - weren't rich or powerful, but they still live with us because of the portraits that were created of them Does anyone know who Mona Lisa was?
The ones we come home to, whose hugs are worth more than any paycheck, and whose laughter brightens any day - this is your family. And from that first diaper changed to holding your first grandchild, the time moves like a freight train. And soon it's gone, except for the memories. I've captured and preserved the memories of hundreds of families in my career.
When I was graduating from high school it was pretty simple - a shot with a tuxedo for the guys and a drape for the girls. All done in about 10 minutes. How sad that the photographer never asked me about my dreams and aspirations - what I wanted to do, where I wanted to go in this next stage of my life.

Have used Wade Studios twice already, first time I met Mark, who owns an operates Wade Studios. He gave me a tour of the studio and it's equipment. Originally I gave this a 5 star review, it a great studio with lots of space and natural light. The reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because equipment is never in the same place, you have to go looking for cables for the profoto lights, one of which is battery operated and last time I was there it had no power so it could not be used.
Another reason why it gets a 4 star is because mark doesn't answer his emails. After the first rental at Wade Studios, I was prompted with an email asking for a 5 star review and in return I will receive a $25 discount on my next visit. There is nowhere to redeem this voucher on the website and since Mark doesn't answer his emails, it's basically a discount which is not honored.

Generally, I will echo many of the positive comments about the studio space itself and the value. BUT. unfortunately, there were two things that soured my experience: 1) a previous booking ran into my time, which was odd because there was no booking on the online calendar for that time, and 2) after the shoot, I emailed Mark twice -- once directly to his email and once through the post-shoot form soliciting feedback -- and I never got a response or an explanation. I was really prepared to let it all slide, but when I didn't even get a response, that kind of spoiled Wade Studio for me.

My experience shooting at Wade Studio was really great! I found communication with Mark to be really clear and easy while I was in the booking process and leading up to the session, even when I had to make some changes to my timeslot after the initial booking. The studio itself was well equipped for my needs, and had really great natural light which I noted for future reference. I had a great session experience!

Great open space and value for the place, had everything I needed as indicated on the website. This could just be my case and at the end of the roll but, the white seamless was short and didn't go longer than 3.5 feet from the end of the wall towards me. This changed a bit of the shoot where I had to compromise and manage distance for the models and clothing. Worked out but could have been better to leave more to use.

We had an amazing experience at Wade Studio! Entry instructions were clear and accurate. The space was tidy and very clean. The studio is fully stocked with various photography gear. The space itself is expansive, bright, and nicely furnished. AND, amazing value! Will definitely book again in the future!
