Not sure who i spoke on the phone with, but as a bride who's already stressed out and just looking for answers, the woman on the phone was EXTREMELY rude. giving me so much attitude when i'm just trying to get answers for how much a bridal bouquet can cost. fix your customer service!

All I have to say is The Flower Place knows what it like to serve the public! I was desperate to find a place on a Saturday that didn't have a cut off time to deliver flowers to a loved one in the hospital! The hospital gift shop was closed which I don't understand because the hospital is a 24 hour a day business! The owner was quick to take my order and told me the flowers would be delivered within the hour! Im so thank ful for her and her willingness to help! Big Box Business has forgotten what it means to serve the public!

My husband sent yellow roses (my favorite) on 10/23/21. I met the delivery man at the door. When I brought them in I noted they were dry & shriveling on the edges; the water level in the vase was fine. The flower place called to verify delivery. The woman I spoke to was so rude and argumentative I couldn't believe it. She stated the roses were in "perfect condition" and refused my offer of sending her a picture as she "knows what they look like." She didn't even offer an apology (the least she could have done) nor did she offer replacement when I described the flowers condition.

We usually order from Ms Scarlett's flowers in Bradenton and they are always fresh & vibrant (only open until 1:00 on Saturdays which prompted him to call another local florist). Lesson learned, next time we will wait for Ms Scarlett's availability.

Absolutely outstanding. I needed flowers last minute for my girlfriend's birthday and had no idea what to do. I called The Flower Place, and they answered the phone immediately. The owner and designer herself talked to me personally, and guided me through the whole process, and helped me choose the perfect arrangement within my budget. She was super nice and thoughtfully processed my order to create the perfect arrangement for my last minute needs!

It was easy! Flowers were delivered during the Covid-19 Pandemic contact-free by a driver wearing a mask, gloves and had sanitizer in-hand, as well as disinfecting wipes for the vase. She took a picture of the arrangement for delivery confirmation to avoid pen and paper contact with my girlfriend. She then knocked at the door and stepped 6-feet away!

Thank you for keeping my girlfriend safe and feeling so comfortable during delivery, she is at-risk so the contactless delivery service was very important to me. My girlfriend LOVED the arrangement, which was made up of a two dozen fresh, colorful long-stem roses, bright, sunflowers, fresh baby's breath greenery, ribbons, and balloons in a very nice vase. It was obviously done by a perfectionist, and handled with great care. Thank you for taking such good care of us, and we will be back again for Valentines Day!

During this time, safety is incredibly important to my family. As stated on their website, the delivery services provided contactless delivery. They wore a mask, gloves and took a picture of the order once delivered to avoid contact with a pen and paper. I felt absolutely comfortable. What professional service! Not only was the arrangement that I ordered for my family (at a great price btw) absolutely breathtaking, but the service for delivery was on point (and early too). :) I HIGHLY recommend this florist, who has been in the business locally for decades.

The designer is well-seasoned and incredibly talented, and I cannot say enough nice things about the wonderful staff. I would trust this business with everything from get-well bouquets for friends, too my own wedding.

Highly recommend this florist! I have been using The Flower Place for YEARS, and trust them with arrangements for my family members that live in Lakewood Ranch and Longboat Key. I also use the arrangements to beautify my storefront. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I trust this florist as she always provides professional, timely service to myself and my team, but also because I know that she is strict about contactless delivery protocols.

This is very important to me, my customers and of course my family who receive the flowers, and would otherwise be exposed with another florist. I have recommended The Flower Place to all of my business associates, friends and family who are now clients! They did a beautiful bridal arrangement for my cousin, and if I ever get married someday, I wouldn't go anywhere else! Keep up the good work, ladies!

I called around 130pm. I had no clue what flowers I wanted to send my sister. I asked the lady on the phone for purple flowers with a single sunflower. My sister received the arrangement by 345pm and was extremely impressed with it. I was impressed with the fast friendly service and they provided contactless delivery. Thank you Flowers Place. I will use you again the future.

Let me start off by saying this is the first Google review I have ever written. Negative or Positive. I normally do not write reviews, but I am beyond frustrated right now. This has got to be by far the worst experience I have ever had with a florist. Probably one of the worst experiences I've had in retail period. I ordered flowers for Mothers Day earlier this week.

After ordering the flowers, I received a phone call from the owner saying they did not have the Waterford crystal vase, and gave me options for a replacement. We agreed on something and I thought all was well. Yesterday, I called the store, just to follow up and confirm roughly what time the flowers were coming as we had plans for Mother's Day. No one answered, and was unable to leave a message.

This morning (Mother's Day) I called again. No answer. Around noon time, I called again and sent an email. Finally told my wife to just do as planned with our kids, and I'll stay home and wait. 5pm rolls around. Still no flowers. I send another email. 6pm I call and send another email. Still no response. I know it is Mother's Day, and know it is a busy day for florist, so I wasn't totally upset yet.

Around 7:15 I get a phone call from the delivery driver that he needs the code to get into our community. I give it to him and wait outside to meet him. Soon as he got out of the car, I realized the flowers did not look like what I ordered. I showed him a picture of what I ordered and what he had, and he even agreed they didn't look the same. I told him I would not accept them and to take them back, or call the store. 2 minutes later I get a call from the owner.

I explained to her they did not look like what I ordered and she responded by saying " Yes they do, I made them myself right off the picture". I told her it did not have any of the white flowers and didn't look as full as the picture. She responded by saying " What are you looking for a refund". I said let me pull it up in my phone and I'll tell you the name of the flowers that were missing.

She said there is no need for it, she made them herself. I tried to ask a question again and she hung up on me. I called back 2 times but no answer. I have been in sales and retail my entire life and would never hang up on a frustrated customer. If we could have had a conversation, I would have been happy with a partial refund, a credit towards another purchase, or at least an offer to bring them back and Add the missing flowers.

I will never order again from this florist, which is a shame, because I have ordered in the past and was very happy. Very unprofessional. I am going to try and reach out to the owner again tomorrow to resolve. If we can't, I will be contacting my bank to dispute the charges as well as the better business bureau.
