Tammys Floral

Beautiful floral shop that has a wide variety of houseplants, pots, succulents, large planters, cards & gifts in addition to making lovely floral arrangements and bouquets. While driving down 12th Street, the lush green plants in the window caught my attention. The next day I had to come back and check it out. The owner and those working there are so friendly in that small town way that doesn't exist in many places.

Well it's on full display here! When I explained that I was trying to replace two orange bromeliads, they offered to order some for me. Bromeliads or any plant I need that is not in the store. When I mentioned that my large aloe is covered in white, scale fungus or mites, they informed me that it is lacking light. I've Googled this a dozen times and that never came up!

Shopping here is as much about getting educated on how to care for your plants to as it is about finding a specific plant. The goal is for the plant to thrive long term. While perusing the shop, I noticed some planters filled with three or four indoor houseplants that would be a stunning gift or an arrangement for your own home. Especially the ones that had a pop of color from the African Violets.

I may have to go back for one! All the plants were healthy and thriving. There were anthurium with waxy, shiny, red heart shaped leaves; snake plants that are so easy to maintain; lots of pathos that are super easy to grow; an assortment of orchids in multiple colors; and a plethora of succulents and air plants. The shop is small but everything is styled so nicely that they fit in a lot of inventory while still keeping it spacious so customers can easily make their way around. Loved everything about this shop! So happy to find a plant and floral shop in the heights of Hood River.

ABSOLUTELY amazing! I ordered A corsage for my son's prom 2 weeks in advance from Sigman's Flowers in The Dalles and was told the day before that they were unable to fulfill my paid order due to Mother's Day. Not only did they not try in rectify my order but their service was HORRIBLE! Even when I asked to speak with the owner I was denied the opportunity.

I thought it was a lost cause getting a corsage at the last minute but i called Tammy's. They took the time to ensure the colors were correct based on the dress. It was important to her that she get it right. The corsage was perfect! Tammy's to the rescue. Thank you so much!

Our wedding flowers were absolutely gorgeous. They are fairly priced and the staff was enjoyable to work with.

The flowers are gorgeous, the plants are beautiful, the pots are unique, the plush toys are well stocked for a nice gift to include with the flowers, and chocolates are dangerously delicious! Seriously, such an amazing selection of healthy, vibrant plants and very cool pots, in all different sizes! The staff is always so, so nice too, and have offered to help me repot my plants multiple times. Seriously, you guys are the best!

Tammy did a fantastic job creating my daughter's bridal bouquet! It was exactly what she had asked for. Tammy even thought of supplying vases to hold the bouquets so that they became beautiful table decorations at the dinner/reception.

I live in washougal, wa and need to send flowers to our nfamily and this is the second times we order from them. Omg, can't express enough how pretty and huge the bouquet it is. If anyone need flowers for love ones they're the one to go. Totally recommended.

I'm always looking for fantastic local florists to help spread love and happiness. 4 Stars to this florist for doing just that, but not completely perfect because the medium-priced (and paid) arrangement is far from "flowers may vary upon season." Still a decent bouquet. "you look different than your picture online."

I sent my friend the Orchid blossom bouquet in a size small. I was a little worried since the picture they had on the website was stunning but in a size medium. Turns out, the small was just as fantastic! Oh and they sent them the same day I placed the order, thank you Tammys Floral!

I ordered an adorable arrangement for my husband, to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered through an online company but Tammy's Floral is who filled the order (made the arrangement and delivered it). The bouquet was delivered on time, which is why I gave two stars. That's the only positive thing I can say on behalf of my purchase though.

The arrangement my partner received looked basically nothing like the arrangement I ordered.very pale in comparison to say the least. After I deconstructed the bouquet today to make something that looked decent, I wonder now if the arrangement was made from mostly scrap cuttings. It had a piece of this, a piece of that, some stems were MUCH too short for the vase, and a bunch of odd greenery and filler that wasn't supposed to be included.

Nothing really matched and it was missing certain flowers that were supposed to be in the arrangement. Not only did the bouquet have different flowers and different greenery, but it measured inches smaller than what the description stated the recipient would receive! For being smaller than it was supposed to be, I would have expected the flowers to really be packed in there but it was quite the opposite.

The bouquet looked very loose and empty. I'm disappointed to have to leave such a negative review but I can't imagine if this bouquet was being sent to show sympathy of someone losing their loved one or to actually show a gesture of romance. That would have been a total fail! Luckily, the bouquet was an attempt embarrass my hubby at work and not sent in a romantic sense. Thankfully, the online company I used to order the bouquet gave me a total refund, but I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for deliveries since you can't inspect your purchase before you send it to your loved one.

Imagine my disappointment when I found the perfect bouquet for my mother on one of those big online flowers website, only to discover that it was not offered in her area. As a bit of a Hail Mary pass, I called Tammy's Floral in my mom's hometown to see if they could possibly do anything like it. Mind you, the flower bouquet that I was determined to have delivered to my mother was no less than a tropical assortment of bright flowers and greens gorgeously arranged in a margarita glass. not exactly your everyday bouquet.

Without hesitation, Tammy told me that she would be more than willing to try her best and track down a similar margarita glass for use in an arrangement. Within a few days, she had done it. I was ecstatic. I was thrilled that she and her staff went above and beyond their normal offerings to help me build the perfect arrangement. And the bouquet was OUTSTANDING.

My mother said it was the most beautiful arrangement she had ever seen, and the margarita glass was cute to boot! I can't recommend Tammy's Floral enough. Thank you Tammy for an outstanding job!

Tammy's Floral did a beautiful flower crown for a baby shower I hosted. They were extremely helpful over the phone as I had to order it remotely to pick up the day of the event. It fit perfectly and was absolutely gorgeous. It held up wonderfully throughout the whole event and, most importantly, the mom-to-be loved it!

I live in Portland but needed a plant delivery in Hood River, so a Google search took me to Tammy's Floral. When I received a pic of what had been produced for the order I placed, I immediately expressed disappointment at seeing something not quite what I had expected, which was what I had seen at their website under Plants and ordered. Tammy's very quickly called me and was thoughtful, friendly, and wanting to do whatever she/they could to make me happy. Wow.

You don't see that every day. I was literally taken aback a second when I answered the phone. Tammy beefed up my order and, evidently from her email delivered it herself. I saw a pic of version 2 and it was lovely, more what I'd thought it would be. That level of customer service is becoming harder to find. It was and is so very much appreciated and I would recommend Tammy's Floral to anyone looking for a job well done by a very nice bunch of folks.

I went in for a little plant consult and the woman there was such a great help and very polite! She helped with replanting and watering my little plants and making sure I was educated on how to care for them!

I called Tammy in regards to an arrangement that I needed made. Within three hours she took my ideas and made the most beautiful arrangement. She sent me a photo and will be delivering them asap. I called from Los Angeles, sight unseen, to order flowers for my aunt's birthday. Not only did Tammy include all the flowers I had wanted, but she created such a beautiful arrangement that lasted for 2 weeks!
