From the first hole at the Sunrise nine, a long par four with a green fronted by water, to the last hole at Sagebrush, a monster par five with water running the length of the hole, you'll be challenged throughout the Stonebridge course. With water on 20 of the 27 holes, it's not easy to stay dry, but if you do you may be able to score well on this exceptional layout. From the championship tees, long drives are essential to avoid the water and you'll need accuracy to stay out of the numerous traps.

Had a pleasant time at the course, I went just to practice at the driving range. Kind of a unique situation where there is a school in the middle of the campus, but signs adequately got us to the range. Buckets were cheap, and they even prepped clubs for us to borrow for free. The range didn't exactly go into the greenest grass, but that certainly wasn't necessary for range purposes. Would recommend the range for some casual practice.

Great muni with 3 different 9s. Pace of play is usually very good, fairways and greens are always decent. Folks who work there are AWESOME! Breakfast in the clubhouse is worth getting there early for and b33rs are always cold! Just bring bug spray if playing early or late. Also, the course can be windier than the rest of the valley

First time at the course. We decided to walk 9 to be done early and avoid the heat. We played the creekside 9. I was impressed how long the course was as well as pretty challenging. Water hazards on almost every hole. Only $16 to walk 9 holes $8 more off you want a cart. We will come back and play again.

If you enjoy working on your golf game, and don't have the benefit of private club facilities / privileges, it's hard to beat what they have for the general public at Stonebridge in West Valley (north end of Lake Park Corporate Center). There's a nice short game practice area -- with a bunker -- beyond the range. From the part of the short game area closest to the range, you can probably hit a 75 - 80 yard shot.

No way you won't get better spending some time there. The range itself is very large. Hard to imagine there wouldn't always be fresh grass available to hit your full shots. The practice putting green by the clubhouse is also sizable, maintained very nicely, and offers some nice variety of relatively flat areas / areas with slope. Very nice public practice facility!

Well done, Stonebridge! I must say, though, I'm baffled why Stonebridge doesn't have a liquor license / proper cocktails. Large clubhouse, and obviously it is marketing itself as a venue for things like weddings, holiday / birthday parties, graduations, work events, etc. I put in a long practice session today. I wanted more than a can of beer after finishing. And for goodness sake, at least stock the products of some of the local breweries like Squatter's, Wasatch, Red Rock! That's a no-brainer.

Fun course and well maintained. 27 holes with three different 9 hole courses. Sunrise #1 is Eastbound so morning drive is brutal into the sun. Great staff!
