As a limo driver and the owner of D & L Livery, I have to rate Southwest Limousine a one star because no lower rating is offered. Our experience is that they collect fares from customers, but do not pay other limo companies who are helping to service their customers on their behalf. When you hire this company, please think of your driver who may never be paid for driving you.

Southwest gave a quote for 6 people to O'hare, just prior to the departure date they called to confirm but gave us a different quote, they said their employee gave us the wrong rate and she was no longer employed. We argued that wasn't our error and we had used them for several years and had called two other limo services and Southwest had the lowest quote so they were chosen.

They assured us they would honor the rate and they would inform our driver so there would not be any confusion abour the price. Driver picked us up and after arrival to the airport quoted the higher price. We explained this had been resolved. He was very upset & rude stating he would take it up with the office personnel but we would have to pay a higher rate when rerurning home and we would need to pay for two limos due to the amount of luggage in our party.

We called the office prior to our return and they insisted we would have to have two limos to return. We used another limo service and received an excellent rate and only 1 limo. After several years and recommending Sourhwest to friends & relative's we are done, never calling them again.

We LOVE Southwest Limo! I was in need of a limo for my friend's Bachelorette Party: I called and spoke to Gary, the owner, and he was SO nice! Southwest Limo was the nicest and most professional limo service of all of those I had been calling - and I called a lot of different places. Their wonderful receptionist June was awesome - very friendly and helpful - when confirming my reservation. Then, our driver Joe was spectacular!

A really great driver and very courteous. The limo was huge, very clean, and stocked with ice cold pop and waters! We had a blast! Highly recommend, and our family will be using them for all of our future limo needs!

We were quoted a price by a girl who southwest later fired, however southwest told us they would honor the price the girl gave us and promised their would be no problem, however after the limo guy dropped us off at the airport he told us we owed more money even when I explained and gave him the management name he still was very rude and then told us we will need two limousines for the return ride back at a huge price. Needless to say we called another limo service who provided a stretch limo for $100 cheaper than southwest with excellent service.

We used southwest for years and that's how they treat their loyal customers? Never again! They lie about prices and customer loyalty means nothing to them. So glad we found an excellent limo service now!

I have never been so insulted. I called for a price for car service from my home to Chicago Ohare. Now some years ago they couldn't service me from South Shore and that was fine because I wasn't located SW of the city I assume. Now I think it's more than that. I know live around 115th & Western - my stepmother uses them all the time and she lives in the heart of Beverly while I live on the outskirts - Beverly technically ends at 111th Western.

The woman told me they couldn't pick me up because they don't have a city plate. I told her that's hard to believe because she picks up my step mother all the time. She then proceeded to tell me well we pick up people from BEVERLY. She then said DO YOU LIVE IN BEVERLY? Why would that matter if I live 2 minutes from the Beverly border? So now you can drive to the city to pick up people from Beverly.

I don't want to assume but 90% of the people that live in Beverly are not minorities - or maybe the assumption is that only people who live in the city that can afford it are from Beverly. I have no idea but the woman clearly stated to me that I live in Chicago they don't have CITY Plates and we CANNOT pick you up even though as late as last Wednesday they picked my step mother up and took her to Ohare airport.

I won't use this place ever again. Wow, our driver dropped us(9) in the middle of traffic out side Northernly island and decided at that time he was the driver that would be picking us up. Mind you we had 2 coolers full of drinks for the ride there and back and he didn't mention anything. On the way back it took almost 45 mins to find our driver and then once we did we where met with attitude and rudeness. The ride home was a disaster, speeding and jerking the whole way. Disappointed to say the least

When southwest is supposed to pick you up and they are not there and they say it was cancelled even though you didn't cancel and they they tell you to take a taxi. Then the gentleman, term used lightly, starts yelling at the customer, which was me, on the phone. Good luck if you decided to use this poor customer service limo company.
