I personally did not eat at this facility, it was a repass for my childrens father. My daughter stated the food was not good, she said even the salad was bad, I was given a piece cheese cake that was good.

Good service and support, but some things need a little maintenance and extra cleaning (chandeliers).

I see that you updated the "chapel". Really wish that you guys would take the time to update the reception/party rooms. Very outdated carpet, wood paneling and lighting fixtures.

Staff was friendly, facility clean as were the restrooms. In the ladies room the paper towel dispenser was jammed so no paper towels. Looked for staff to report it to, but could not find one. The wait staff was efficient, and removed dirty plates quickly. The roast beef was dry and not overly warm, as the pasta, green beans and chicken were also not warm.

Was there for a large seminar. Seating was good and food was really quite nice considering it was a buffet. Everything was good, except for the remote viewing video screens which were too small.

Great staff and accommodations. Many of those at my table remarked about how this was the best wedding food they had ever had. The reception room we used was large and well ventilated. The room sound volume level even with a large live band was very good - not too much reverberation. Rest rooms were clean and well-stocked. Great job by everyone there!

Great venue, had never been. Great service, great staff, food left a little to be desired. But it was still a nice venue for a reception

I have delayed writing my review for about a month to really think through how I felt about my experience. Leading up to the event, I worked with both Jodie and Shannon, and throughout the planning phases things were great and they were very accommodating. My experience the week of (after my final payment) was just okay. The reception room looked great and was set up as requested, and we got lots of compliments on the food. However, my slideshow did not play during cocktail hour as requested and when it did start, it was someone else's. Also, the moveable walls are so thin that I don't think anyone heard our toasts over the music next door.

My main frustration though was with the ceremony room. I paid $500 to use it and it was not at all what I expected. I saw it set up for the first time just a couple of days before my wedding and had to redesign my decorations to accommodate the things that differed from the diagram I had been given. The chairs were wall to wall (with an aisle) and went all the way to the back, so my guests were squished in like sardines and there was no room for the flower arrangements that I purchased. Also, the wall was once again moveable, but it was not able to be centered with the aisle, so it looked like a mess (especially after the curtain was put up, which is on a PVC pipe structure that started to fall over after the first person went down the aisle, and caught my dress as I took my first steps).

I also didn't like that they were pushing us out practically as our guests walked out of the ceremony (our pictures took less than 20 minutes because we did most ahead) and I couldn't go into the reception until the bridal suite was emptied. It was very obvious that it was all about the money at that point. I'm just glad we had an awesome wedding party and great guests who helped me to create wonderful memories despite all of that. I would not, however, hold my ceremony there if I could do it again.

I attended a luncheon event with a friend at Receptions Erlanger a few weeks ago. My friend had a special dietary request, separate from the luncheon buffet offered to the group, which the staff took care of right away. Receptions is good for a corporate evening party or a wedding reception, as I've attended a few events at another one of their locations, but I felt lighting was too dark for a luncheon meeting.

My first visit to Receptions was for a corporate Christmas party. The room had warm, inviting decor and holiday trimmings. The bar service was affordable and our dinner was buffet style: roast, chicken Parmesan, mashed potatoes, pasta, dinner rolls and salad. Everything was tasty, but the ranch dressing for the salad was amazing! Our group polished off a punch bowl-sized vat of dressing and the servers had to bring out a replacement bowl. Oh, and I think there was some cheesecake for dessert.

My second visit was for a formal business presentation, much larger than the Christmas party. About 200 guests received their own plate for both appetizer and entree. I was sitting in the back, watching the servers. These folks are some speedy people! They swiftly had everyone fed and in time without disturbing the speakers. Our waitress was especially fantastic.

My colleague needed a vegetarian meal, so the server went back to the chef and had him prepare a new dish: a huge Portobello mushroom sauteed in red wine with angel hair pasta. Every bite was devoured; I was envious of his dish! Both of my experiences at Receptions have been wonderful. The venue is corporately beautiful, the staff is professional, organized, and go the extra mile, and of course the food is delicious! I hope to attend another function here soon!

I spent the majority of my 3 months of job training in the many conference rooms at Receptions in Erlanger. The rooms are standard - traditional, strange printed carpet and upholstery, large, well-lit, and well-ventilated. The provided lunch we had every day was actually spectacular; some of the best I've had at corporate trainings at similar halls elsewhere.

Would I want to have a wedding at Receptions? Definitely not. Though we saw a few weddings being set up for after our training sessions, the thought of having a wedding reception ear-shot away from an airport, next-door to a lazer tag arena, and less than a quarter mile away from a number of manufacturing facilities (John Deere, for one), distribution centers (Frito Lay), and business parks (PepsiCo, Toyota, Wild Flavors, etc.) is so incredibly unappealing that it borderlines last-resort on my girlie dream-wedding radar. But, for a corporate event, Receptions is as good as it gets.

Northern Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management meets here monthly. It's perfect for our group. There are large rooms with round tables. They have projection screens and audio equipment. The meal was above average. They have very clean restrooms. If you need a large meeting space with good food - this is the place. They book up quick though - so you will want to reserve as soon as you know the dates you need.
