I believe life is short, and capturing moments that really make you want to just stop time and stay there forever, truly expresses the photos I create. I believe every sunrise and sunset is different, just like everyone's story about how they fell in love. Soft served Dole pineapple ice cream is simply proof there are little pieces of heaven on earth.
We absolutely LOVE what we do! What better career, than to be part of a love story and share it? Someone once said, "There is only one happiness in life - to love and to be loved." It's true; no matter where you're from, what language you speak, or what career you have, LOVE is what drives us. It is the one thing we all have in common and the one reason we are here in this world.
It isn't everyday that your entire life changes and you begin a new journey, with a whole new title called "fiance." As they ventured through The Desert X Gallery, Zack planned a perfect surprise proposal for Katelynn at their last destination; Lover's Rainbow. With a few visitors around the Lover's Rainbow, Zack got down on one knee and proposed to Katelynn, whom seemed quite surprised indeed!

Rachel is a California native who is drawn to sports and the outdoors, thriving on competition and physical activities.
After an injury in 2002, Rachel re-focused from her passion for sports and competition to creating beautiful images with her camera.
As a photographer, Rachel seeks to tell each couples story with beautiful photographs that play with the edge of light, challenging back-lighting mixed with simple and clean lighting creates a dynamic mix to Rachel's portfolio.
When not photographing an energetic couple or beautiful wedding, Rachel can be found out hiking in the local mountains, or taking a last minute free spirited trip to watch the sun rise over a new landscape (all with a camera at hand to capture the adventure to share with those who enjoy living vicariously through her experiences)
Rachel's pay-it-forward view of life and longing to see the best from everyone she meets guides her friendly personality and allows to her to connect with each of her couples in a way that puts them at ease knowing she is always working to make them look their very best.

I couldn't be more pleased with the photos and Rachel herself was a pleasure to work with. When I contacted her to schedule the session she got back to me right away and was responsive to all my questions. She was also very accommodating. I needed professional photos of myself for my website, but I ended up bringing my kids along to get a few photos with them.
It was cold outside during the shoot and my kids were whining, but Rachel handled them wonderfully and managed to get some really great shots of them too. I was incredibly pleased. And I love the mounted 8x10 prints we got. Beautiful work! I highly recommend her. The next time we need professional photos I will definitely go back to her. Thanks Rachel!

Rachel is great! She goes above and beyond for her customers. I personally hate taking pictures, but she captured my wedding day beautifully. From the moment I met her, she was so welcoming. She made sure to get photos of everything I had mentioned was important to me. Wedding photos are one of the things that you get to take from your wedding, and id highly recommend Rachel.

Rachel Rose Photography is the best! Rachel is extremley helpful with anything and everything. She takes beautiful pictures, is very proffesional and resonable. She got our photos back to us very soon (less then 2 weeks) and also made a great photo montage video!!! She was a delight to work with and her passion for photography comes through loud in clear in the quality of photos she takes!

It was a super secret proposal, and Rachel worked closely with me to figure out exactly what our plan should be. Rachel was great at answering my many, many questions before the booking / shoot. When the time came, she kept the secret perfectly and snapped away as needed while I proposed. Fiance and I had a great time, Rachel was very easy to work with, we had a lot of fun, and she delivered the pictures very quickly, too.
