Arturo of Playz Music actually gets 10 stars from the TCC BSU Club in Tacoma, WA. He DJ'd for us for our Ebony Ball in February, and he was very professional, patient, and knew what music to play. This was our first Ebony Ball, so we were nervous, but he walked us through how to choose a playlist ahead of time, and asked us what announcements we wanted him to make and when. He touched bases with us at the right times before the event so that everything worked seamlessly once the time of the event was upon us. The crowd loved him!

Arturo loves what he does and it is seen by how hard he works at making sure we are having a good time. I would recommend him for any type of event that looking to have a great and lots of fun. He is very cooperative, working his schedule to suit our needs. Also offers a great variety of suggestions that made our time more memorable. Thank you and looking forward to the next event.

I was the primary planner for our Annual Medical Staff Retreat and was asked to hire a DJ for the evening entertainment/dancing portion of the event. Sadly, the DJ originally hired had canceled on me and Arturo came to my rescue. I had quite a bit of anxiety about making sure it would be a success and Arturo quickly put my mind at ease the first time I spoke with him.
He was professional, timely, and the responses I heard from attendees was that I was to definitely have him back for next years retreat. He was a great hit and some docs danced all night. I'm so grateful I made the right choice having Arturo as our DJ! He was awesome!

DJ Arturo Rodriguez owner of Playz Music is professional, reliable, accommodating and fun! His authenticity and expertise shine! Our corporate business, hired DJ Arturo for an annual Summer Family/Employee Appreciation event in June of 2019. Throughout the 7 months of event planning, Arturo patiently worked with me, answering questions and discussing the initial set up of his gear [booth] station.
On the day of the event, he arrived on time and prepared, going the extra mile when it came to accommodating & partnering with other vendors on site [including shared space, set up and break down]. The music he provided became the pulse and heartbeat of our party, which was centered on the exterior of a 22 acre farm in Issaquah, WA. Arturo is passionate about community building, and in addition to the music [which everyone loved] he hosted an inclusive drum circle [ALL children and adults were encouraged to participate]. If you need to hire a DJ, Arturo is your first and only one stop shop! Gratitude for working with you Arturo!

Arturo was our DJ for our wedding at the space needle. We wanted a bilingual DJ who knew both English and Spanish since most of my family speaks Spanish as a first language. Arturo was eloquent and ran the wedding perfectly. The music set up and lights were very well done. We had a four hour open bar and we did not experience any issues and everyone had a great time.
For anyone considering having Arturo at your wedding as a DJ, you should definitely do it. His rates are reasonable and my husband (military) is a fine detail type planner so he kept us to budget - after discussions with all the various services, Arturo was (a) mature, (b) moderately priced, (c) had his own equipment and set up, and (d) was respectful.
The number one issue my husband had when talking to DJ's were that they were (a) young and distasteful in approach and (b) nickel and dimed over every detail. If we have another party in the future we will be contacting Arturo again.
