This was the most awesome wedding experience. Guests will be talking about this for a long time! Staff was great, especially Kim she is a little spitfire! Appeared out of nowhere exactly when we needed her! 10 stars for Kim. Food was outrageously good, venue and grounds were gorgeous, and all the vendors we used (suggested by them) were top notch. Highly recommend for any occasion, but especially for a wedding. I

Perona Farms is a B-E-A-UTIFUL venue for a wedding, party, or just about any event! With it's quaint rustic versus modern decor and feel, it's so very comfortable and there's absolutely no way you cant immediately fall in love with this place. The food, the wait staff, and the surrounding area. PHENOMENAL! Was there for a wedding and was blown away by it all. AND ITS IN AN ACTUAL BARN! If you have a chance to throw an event or you are invited to attend one here. Make sure you go! It's awesome! Can't wait for the next one!

This place was always excellent and now they've raised the bar even higher. With their multi million upgrade, this venue is beyond special! The food and service has gotten even better (which I did not think was possible!) Every event we have attended here has been magnificent! You will NOT be disappointed!

What a beautiful place to celebrate your party everything was perfect. The place, the food, the waitress were absolutely nice and tried to do the best they could for our table. Simply a very pleasant place for the best times.

We must say, the new management is VERY on top of the newest trends. The Refinery and The Barn are two of the most unique spaces in the tri-state area and entertaining weddings at Perona is an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely time at my cousins wedding. Loved the old world rustic charm of the barn. Right down to the white Birch arbor! Very friendly staff. They went above and beyond from bringing drinks to our table for the elders and going over to the main building to get us containers for our leftovers. I hope they were tipped well! Thank you perona farms for help making a wonderful evening!

As wedding photographers at Megan & Kenneth, we are OBSESSED with this venue! The Refinery at Perona Farms is honestly made for wedding photography. The modern ceremony space has the most beautiful natural light. The industrial reception space is so unique with its high ceilings and brick walls. We love all the different textures and colors that are incorporated into the design of this venue.

But what we love most about The Refinery is the attention to detail. Every single little thing has been thought through in this versatile event space, and the staff is incredible!

Attended a wedding at this barn, yesterday. Sick. Large space with high-AF room. Ornate decorations that glitz the venue up for 2 married people and their 300 guests, for the reception. Dance floor, open bar, large wooden tables.what else is required? Oh yeah, an outdoor space to take 14725 pictures at to torture the married couple. Barns, tractors, hay, mountains. America. America.

We had our wedding in July at the Barn. Everything was beautiful. Staff was attentive and easy to work with. They flawlessly moved our ceremony inside due to pending rain. No worries and no stress for the Bride & Groom! Received so many compliments everything especially the food! Would highly recommend for a Rustic Celebration!

Last night we enjoyed a soccer banquet for our daughters. It was so great to see them so rrlaxed and happy in this gorgeous room! From the start, the staff- Brian, Ivette, Patrick, Brooke, and Robert, were amazing at anticipating our needs and helping to make our night flow smoothly. Our food was delicious and well-presented with plenty of options. The venue is beautiful- Perona Farms' renovations have updated their rooms beautifully- we had a great evening-- would highly recommend!

Held a soccer sports banquet on 5/17 @ Perona from 6-9pm. The service from the initial contact to completion of the event was phenomenal. Ivette and Brian are terrific. The facility was clean and looked amazing. Food was fantastic and the staff accommodated those with food allergies. Bravo Perona. I will be sharing my great experience with all.

What an amazing experience from start to finish. Ivette was our coordinator and from the very beginning you could tell she had it down to a science. She was easy to reach and kept us informed regarding updates with COVID and our guest numbers. She was so accommodating with our list as our number fell short of our original number due to family members testing positive for COVID. Desiree was our ceremony coordinator and she was such a pleasure to work with.

I seriously wished we could have had her through the rest of the night! Everything ran so smoothly that day thanks to her! The way she decorated our reception space with all of the decor we bought absolutely blew my mind. It was more beautiful than I could've ever imagined-truly. All in all, having our wedding at Perona was an absolute wonderful experience, hands down.

You can tell how important your day is to them and they truly ensure that it is perfect, everyone we met was super friendly and lovely. We're hoping to get invited back as guests one day to experience it all again :

I ate here 6 plus years ago for Mother's Day. $50-$60+ a head is a lot of money but worth it for a good buffet. I almost went up to the owner to ask him for my money back and just leave. The buffet consisted of all frozen crap from Restaurant Depot. How would I know? If your in the food business you can tell frozen, pre-packaged stuff vs fresh.

And the seafood smelled of unfrozen seafood with that smell of seafood. You know I made the mistake of having just two oysters. Well that was a bad move. I was sick for 3 days. And not just a little sick- bad. I had food poisoning before and this sure felt like it. To be transparent-- I did not follow up with the restaurant. Why? 1. What would they do? 2.

I didn't feel like arguing. I have never been back nor would suggest going here. I can't believe the fool the amount of people they do with this buffet style food. At the price per plate they charge, the food should be at least a solid B+. This wasn't even as fresh as some of those $9.99 Buffett places. If I remember correctly the bread was the only thing warmed up nicely enough to hide the fact it was frozen. It's been 5-6 years maybe things have changed but I would not go back unless maybe after Covaid I was offered a free buffet meal for two.

I was fortunate enough to attend a wedding here and it was nicely done. Due to the current circumstances, there was a large tent outside that hosted the reception after the ceremony. The staff was extremely accommodating with everything it looked like. I will list out some foods I was able to try below, but not detail all due to the large number of items.

My favorite food of the night was the pastrami smoked salmon, very appetizing and delicious. The pastrami flavor was not overpowering. Other items ate at the cocktail hour included shrimp cocktail, homemade sausages (asiago, buffalo chicken and Italian), tomato gazpacho, chicken al pastor tacos, tomato and corn salad, sausage flatbread, pork bun, buffalo chicken wonton with bleu cheese, cheese tortellini, and orecchiette with hot sausage.

I did not care for the salad, and pork bun. The salad seemed off, and the pork bun was a little dry. The homemade sausages were very good as well the buffalo chicken wonton, great bleu cheese topping! For dinner, there were multiple courses, and nothing had to be chosen so different types of food were tried which was nice. The first course consisted of scallops over zoodles.

The scallops smelled extremely bad but ended up tasted good with the overload of butter. The second course was a Caesar salad. The salad lacked dressing. The main entree contained grilled salmon, steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The steak was cooked to a pleasant medium rare with plenty of flavor. The salmon could have been cooked a tad longer, but not a big deal.

The potatoes and asparagus were pleasant as well. The dessert probably was not from the venue, but consisted of a vanilla and chocolate cake, rainbow cookie, and chocolate mousse. The cookies were by far the best option here. Will I go back? Sure.

Very disappointed. Last time it was excellent. This time little to no food assortment. Covering on ground very shakey. I was petrified I was going to fall. Not accommodating at at. $45.00 per person for a bagel and lox and eggs. What a rip off. Steer clear till they return to inside dining.

I had my parents surprise 60th party here last month. It was a hit. Every server I had on that party was AMAZING. Karline was an amazing captain and made sure my parents got their drinks and took the weight off my sister and my shoulders. I keep getting compliments from my guests on the service, the party, and the food.

As local New Jersey wedding photographers, my husband and I work at Perona Farms many times a year. It doesn't matter if the wedding is at the Reserve or the Barn, we always have such an amazing time. There is so much to photograph on the property including the houses, cottages, orchard, tall trees or bridge. Even though we are there a lot, every wedding is different but Perona's consistency is the one thing we must rave about.

Their staff is on top of everything and most important, their food is AMAZING. We would be remiss to not mention their homemade donuts which are delish! Every one of our couples that has gotten married at Perona has raved about their experience and that is a testament to their continued growth and success.

Went to brunch on Sunday morning, which was easy to make a reservation. We were seated immediately, and promptly offered beverages. After that we went up to the buffet line. what a spread of foods! They had every type of meat, seafood, egg-dish (my favorite was the eggs Benedict), and pastry one could look for. You were not rushed, and the large room provides enough space that you weren't cramped in on. The food was fairly priced for a brunch like that, I would recommend this brunch for anyone. a couple of any age, a family or a large group.

Went for Sunday brunch, first seating. They were a bit understaffed so we'll have to give service 3 stars which is a shame because if they were well staffed it could have been a better experience. Brunch options are good, everything from Waffles to a raw bar to crepes to eggs Benny. Bloody Mary bar is a nice touch and the fresh juices (we got carrot strawberry) was delicious. If your local, would be worth going. Otherwise didn't feel like it was worth my 45 minute drive.

Have attended weddings here in the past and they were lovely. However this review is for their Easter brunch. OMG. We have come here for the last few years and it continues to impress us. The cider donuts are incredible. The buffet options are insane. The shrimp was fresh and tasty. I liked how the waffle server asked me if I wanted a half or a whole, so as not to waste. yum. I'm hungry again just thinking about it.

BRUNCH - Treated both sets of parents to this $35/pp Sunday-only brunch buffet for helping us out the home rennovations. They have eaten iHOP and the like, but never experienced fancy american before. We started off with a shot of blueberry smoothie, and got our choice of tea/coffee or alcoholic drink ($). There's a juice bar also. Tons of food. Seafood section with shrimp & oyster. Cheeseboard & salted meats section. Mediterranean section with grape leaves & pita. Soups & salads. Omelette station. Pancake station.

List goes on and on. I tried to have a bite of everything but the physics of my stomach size said no. The favorite, of course, was the smoked salmon. Topped with egg bits, onions and capers. Delish. Also buffet means I can keep going back for seconds and thirds without feeling guilty =) I also loved their freshly crisped donuts, their orzo salad, and their mushroom crepes. And don't forget to grab the pear parfait. and creme brulee! There's servers abound, making sure water glasses were filled and entrees never close to empty.

Nowadays, I feel like everyone is getting married in a barn. I can't blame them for it! The whole rustic Pinterest vibe is chic and adorable, and makes for a stunning wedding backdrop. Perona Farms has two different options for wedding. You can have your reception in their standard indoor ballroom, or opt to have your wedding in the actual barn.

After seeing both areas, I'm really glad that the wedding was in the barn, which was way more picturesque. The barn has got two levels. Downstairs for the cocktail hour, and upstairs for the actual reception. The cocktail hour area is Pinterest on Pinterest. Chalkboards to write the bride and grooms name, long wooden benches and light up signs that say LOVE. It's a big open air area, and is perfect for mingling with some food and a drink in hand.

There is also an adjacent outdoor area with a fire pit! Now, onto the reception area. Hot dangggggg. It's gorg up there. High arched ceilings, dim purple lighting, and long ornately decorated tables for guests. There is an area in the back to mingle by the bar and a dance floor area in the front by the DJ booth. My one complaint is that the dance floor is kind of small, but it's well worth the sacrifice to get the stunning room. Perona also has on premise catering and the food is really yum! Loved the feta watermelon salad and the fresh smoked sausages at the cocktail hour, and for our main we had dijon salmon and prime rib. This is a great spot for a rustic wedding, highly recommend!
