Rented something and came incomplete and got charged for their mistake

This place is very unprofessional. The deposit is higher than the cost of the rental and the customer service is horrible and not welcoming at all. My event was on 11/28/2020 my return date was 11/29/2020 by 5pm and I called the owner to to inform the owner that I may be coming the next day to return and he told me they were closed on Monday's and I would have to come Tuesday by 5pm I asked him would the deposit still be returned to me if I come and return the items on Tuesday the owner told me as long as I bring the items back in good condition and the exact items I rented i will get my deposit back.

I arrived Tuesday at 1pm and he told me he cannot give me back my deposit because I returned items a day late. There was another man there assisting and he started yelling and pointing in my face saying you signed a contract and you need to abide by it. I felt uncomfortable and threatened so I calmly went outside called the cops but was told this is a legal matter.

Tooooooo high very expensive and prices has change and now its $200 or higher for the deposit and the man that works there has short.patience with the customers wanting you to know he has the best price in town

Excellent customer service, everything was nice and neat when it was time for my pickup. All of my guest loved my decoration

New management is not friendly at all, Bad customer service, expensive deposit, bad communication. Would never rent from them again my family has been coming here for over 10 years never again

Well everything is set up the way you ask for it. Suggestions are made that really save you money. The party time I go to in Hayward.ca. is the best he is head strong in making everything Beautiful No half stepping.

If I didn't have to give them one star to make this comment I wouldn't have, I have used them since 2004,t oday I went in for the first time in over 2 years to find out that they sold their business and that there is new owners, drove all the way from Antioch just because I enjoyed and loved their service and prices, after looking around to a unfinished establishment, I was able to find what I wanted and found out that he was indeed the new owner!ok I'm cool with that, I wanted a total of 10 table linens 25 napkins and 4 Shaffer warmers which were the most reasonable price I've see 5.00, I needed everything for November 10th but was willing to pay for everything today, as we proceeded with the amount owed he said your order amount is 110.00 but I need a 300.00 deposit I said excuse me. now a deposit amount wasn't a issue it's always been one, I've ordered things from her to host over 50 people I said this small order you want 300.00 he said yes closed his book and proceeds to walk me out the unfinished establishment, no consideration that I'm a long term customer or that I drove from antioch, and not one time did he even think to consider accommodating me.im no longer a fan of the owner, an if he is doing ever customer the same he wont be getting good business. OFF TO WALLYS IN ANTIOCH I GO.JUST HEADS UP
