What a wonderful fellowship it was for my uncle and aunt at their Birthday Celebration. The food was delicious. The staff was so courteous and supportive to every need of our guests. Thank you, we truly enjoyed the party. Newberry Hall ranks very high as an event venue.

I hired Newberry Hall to be our bartender for our wedding reception and it was a great choice! I worked with Natalie and she helped me coordinate the signature drinks and we worked out a time to drop off the alcohol we purchased as well. Stacy, the bartender, was very friendly and we appreciated all her hard work!

Went to a Gala for United Way as a speaker with Aiken County Habitat for Humanity. Was such a lovely event! It was decorated beautifully. Everyone was very nice & friendly. The food was GREAT! The only downside is the parking. We ended up making it work & found a good spot, just had to walk a little ways.

My mother, sister and I planned my grandmothers 90th birthday celebration at Newberry. The entire staff is great! Natalie, Patrick, Ryan and the entire staff worked so hard to make sure we had a great time. The food was great and everyone had a ball. We highly recommend this venue for celebrations in the Aiken area.

If you are looking to hold a meeting that's worry free and pull it off with a lot of class in downtown Aiken, this is your best bet. I've been to many meetings and events at Newberry with the Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness, Sons of the American Revolution, National Management Association, American Nuclear Society and even a few retirement parties; and every time the staff at Newberry had the place set up very well.

The table layouts are well thought out, the food selections are very tasty and they have a good variety to choose from, and you have the option of running a cash or open bar (although this will be a fairly limited bar as far as selections go but still a nice option for beer and wine.) As far as I can remember, the price to rent one of their rooms is pretty reasonable and their food and beverage menu makes the price-per-person very affordable for crowds of 20 or more people.

The staff are usually very attentive and quick to provide water or coffee refills, remove empty plates, and keep the food trays filled as the crowd shuffles through the buffet line. Except for renting out part of a downtown restaurant, which you can also do at places like the Aiken Brewing Co., The West Side Bowery, etc.; this is the only truly dedicated meeting hall in the downtown area and they do their job well at making your group feel comfortable and well-served. Plus, it's location is walking distance from most of the popular downtown hangouts, so if you want to continue your conversation with someone after the meeting is over, it's a short walk to a restaurant or bar where you can sit down and keep going.

Depending on the time of day, and which day of the week, the parking can be a little sketchy.if there are other events going on in the Alley or if it's a busy time of the day for the surrounding businesses; but I've never personally had to walk more than a block to get to whichever meeting I was attending at Newberry no matter what day or time it was. All in all, a very classy place to hold a meeting or reception or an awards or retirement dinner.
