Mechanics Hall Concerts for Kids are supported by the Worcester Educational Development Foundation through a grant from The Alden Trust and the Stoddard Charitable Trust. The concerts and accompanying study materials are the result of our partnerships with Music Directors Sima Kustanovich and Richard Falco, WPI, and the Worcester Public Schools, all of whom have added value to development of these unique, informative, and entertaining concerts!
Mechanics Hall is highly versatile and well-suited for a variety of events, including galas, weddings, concerts, business meetings, recordings, commencements and family celebrations. With 14,000 square feet of function space, our venue can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 1,600 people. Your guests will experience the comfort of 21st century amenities amid 19th century elegance.
The Great Hall, on the third level, is a magnificent room featuring a richly decorated coffered ceiling. Corinthian pilasters and balustrade balcony allow an unencumbered view of the stage from everywhere in the room. The Great Hall is considered an acoustic masterpiece, perfectly suited to music performance and recording.

Mechanics Hall is absolutely stunning, and I feel so lucky to have grown up in a city where such an incredible building stands! I have experienced many events there: proms, networking breakfasts, weddings, and fundraising galas - each event is personalized and unique, and the team at the Hall go above and beyond for clients and guests! I have also recently learned that the Hall offers many free concert events for the community, which is just wonderful.

Went there for a wedding reception. Had been there for our kids graduations and other programs, but never a wedding reception. It felt a little odd to have a reception in the Great Hall, but it worked. The staff was polite, informed and friendly. The hostess was "on top of" everything. The wait staff was efficient and diligent. Only good things to say about the staff. I'm not sure but I think the Caterer was contracted in. Food was excellent and there was plenty. MC was professional, witty, attentive. Good experience. Thank you.
