Absolutely stunning and magical place. I'd love to come back just to escape home and enjoy a comfy stay at the Inn. Amazing staff, beautiful area, and cozy rooms. No complaints at all!

Nice place to stay. Fabulous breakfast. Nice rooms. Everything you could need at your disposal. Not the usual hotel, more like your second home. Staff very friendly and helpful. A++

I was so lucky this place had one last room available last minute. Beki was so incredibly friendly and super sweet and accommodating. The inn itself is also very cute with a nice large garden, while the room had a very comfortable bed and Netflix on the TV. A continental breakfast was provided as well as the option to have Beki cook something warm.

She made some wonderful eggs with cheese for us but I also saw her make pancakes for other guests. Will definitely be sure to stay here next time I plan on coming back to the area!

We stayed here for 3 days during Christmas weekend. Winter is off season here, so we pretty much had the Inn to ourselves for the first day and had another family around for the rest of the days. We stayed at the Carriage House as that was one of the pet friendly rooms. Carriage House is a large suite outside of the main house with 2 Sofa's, a king bed, private bath and a private patio.

The room also had a smart TV which was convenient. The property is very beautiful. We loved having breakfast at the Gazebo. It was raining quite a bit when we stayed, hence we couldn't hang around outdoors much. For breakfast, there was a continental spread and Beki (the owner and InnKeeper) offered to cook anything else we would like. She made us some awesome cheese scramble and hash browns.

We loved the hash browns so much that we asked her to make it again the next day. The main house at the Inn has a full kitchen, refrigerator, microwave etc. that the guests can use. They also have a living room with books, TV, fireplace to hang around. Wifi worked beautifully the first 2 days but was out for most part the 3rd day. It wasn't too much of an inconvenience for us though. Beki who runs the inn was quite pleasant and was available if we needed anything.

Y'all need a new wedding/event coordinator. Oof. Beverage staff and food service, however, were kind, informative and not offensive lol. Went for a wedding. Left with some great memories.

Easy to forget where you are at in this walk back in time. The gardens are very inviting for TEA TIME, ANYTIME. Been to a few beautiful Weddings here and other events, Becky is great! I don't know how she does it but she does it all, she makes Magic Happen!

Went to visit a friend staying there. Outside needs a landscaper but inside downstairs charming. But at my age with luggage, don't want an upstairs bedroom.

Great place to get married in an outdoor venue setting. The gardens are beautiful here. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had the quite the charm for being a Victorian style inn. Would highly recommend them as a wedding venue.

So my husband loves steak of course we went to Jockos, and we had to sleep somewhere so our first choice was the kaleidoscope Inn. We were greeted by Beki, who is amazing from the beginning! Beki took care of us from the second we walked in until the second we left! We had cocktails on the patio steak in the gazebo and breakfast on another patio thanks to Beki. We will definitely be back, we will definitely bring our friends, this place is awesome thanks so much Beki and family!

My friend and I were looking for a unique stay near Solvang, CA for a long weekend. We stumbled across the Kaleidescope Inn and selected it over another bed & breakfast option because of positive reviews, beautiful photos, and a reasonable price. We are so glad we did! The Innkeeper, Beki was extremely helpful in all aspects of our stay. She was flexible with check in and offered us a tour of the property upon our arrival.

She communicated all aspects of our stay, and offered her phone number to be reached at any time if other questions arose. We stayed in the "Master Suite" room which ended up being a great selection for us. The Master Suite comes complete with a main room with a queen bed, 2 comfy chairs, mirror, closet, etc and through a small door on one side of the room led a staircase to a private bathroom and additional living space.

Everything was clean and worked great for us. We had breakfast at the Inn both days, and Beki makes some bomb hashbrowns! We loved chatting with people from all over the world and the community comfort vibe. The Inn really felt like a home-away-from-home and offered the comfort and character that we were looking for.

On the plus side, they were great about accommodating my late check in at 7:30 p.m. The room was cheerful and clean and the bed was very comfortable, much better than a motel. It was conveniently close to the Trilogy Activity Center where my class was held. On the downside, there's no one on site to help with questions or problems. I looked for breakfast at 8 a.m. but there was nothing, not fruit or a bagel, nothing.

I had to go to the local Starbucks for breakfast and coffee. Maybe something was available later, but I had a 9 a.m. class and couldn't wait around. Again, there's no one on site to ask. The water pressure of the shower in my room was very weak. I have long hair and it was hard to get the soap out of my hair. I had to squat to use the lower shower head which had better water pressure.

They have only the most basic TV channels, not much in the way of cable. I was able to find only one I wanted to watch. It was enough to watch to unwind after a long day of classes. Above my bedroom door were two large windows. My bed faced the door. The hallway light shone brightly into my bedroom. It was impossible to go to sleep early for my drive home.

I have no idea why they wouldn't put something over the windows to block the light. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't what I expected. I can't unrecommend it, but it's just okay.

We chose the Kaleidoscope Inn for our daughter's wedding venue and we could not have been more pleased. Becky was fantastic and she was really on top of being responsive to what we needed for the wedding to be a success. The location and property were equally impressive. Would give it 6 stars if it was possible.

Bummed to leave so soon. My fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Victorian home just minutes from regular old city life. The home makes you feel like you transported to another era. There are so many details to look at and the history of this home gives a sense of meaning and pride. I would live here if I could. It's comfortable, romantic, cozy, and overall has such a good feel. Can't wait to stay again! It's rare that a place (usually a hotel), can make me feel like I could return for nostalgia. Our host Beki was the best!

We've been here several times and it is like a home away from home. Kevin is a gracious host. Master Suite is very spacious and has en suite bathroom. Breakfast is hot and tasty with various choices. Good coffee. Recommend locking any detached bathrooms between guest arrivals - someone used ours before we got in and really made a little mess.

Beki is an attentive and detailed coordinator and all around a fantastic and friendly person. It is evident how passionate and knowledgeable she is and it truly showed on the day of our wedding and in the planning process. She goes above and beyond and is constantly thinking ahead (she smoothly helped us avert three potential crises). We loved having our wedding at the Kaleidoscope Inn because was is charming, has a luscious garden, and we really enjoyed staying in the cozy Inn the night before and night of the wedding.

I loved staying here, we stayed 2 nights in the Jasmin Suite, very comfy bed. The shower has a soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser which all smell great and are very moisturizing. The location was great for all our plans and breakfast was awesome. We are vegan and Beki was very accommodating to our dietary needs and the food was great, couldn't have asked for more. The garden is beautiful and at night you can have the fire going outside and relax and enjoy the outside garden.

I was among the group that Sandy A. referred to. I can only agree wholeheartedly with her assessment of the Inn. I chose for my room The Cottage out in the garden. It was so cozy and perfect for me. Looking forward to visiting my cottage next year when our group arrives for our next adventure at Kaleidoscope Inn in Nipomo.

My senior group of "sisters" left the Kaleidoscope Inn this mornings with certain plans to return. We have an annual " Get-A-Way" with usually 9 to 15 of us attending for a stay of 2 nights. We laugh, shop, go out to dinners, play games and just catch up until almost midnight with shared stories of our lives and friendships of 30 to 40 years. Last year, we discovered that at ages 70 to 80, we can no longer haul in all of the food, wine, waters etc. and put on this party by ourselves.

Most of us can manage stairs but there were 2 ground floor bedrooms for those who could not. The stairs were wide and well carpeted and an easy climb for others. Beki offered to take up my things because I'd recently had back surgery. Thank God we discovered Kevin, Beki and the Kaleidoscope Inn. Beki was at the Inn day and night. Beautifully prepared delicious breakfasts each day and offered to help with so many little things. Coffee, decaf and goodies always available.

Another huge plus was there were 6 bathrooms! Prior to this we have had 15 ladies with occasionally only 2 bathrooms for all of us. We have run out of toilet paper before and have had sketchy plumbing. Not at Kaleidoscope though. Also, I will say the quality of the towels were similar to the very best hotels. So thick, white and fluffy. The sheets and bedding were also so comfortable and first class.

The home itself reminded me of my stepmothers. Full of high ceilings, and a fun mix of the old and new. Everything comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. Little things like power cords with lots of USB ports. The very best of character and modern. And the beautiful old windows! Yellow and red squares of glass detail in the windows caught the sun and with the tall mature trees just outside the window waving the branches full of leaves, well it was mesmerizing and hypnotic for the afternoon nap.

If you enjoy a dusty old house, you won't find it. We were blown away at how dust free and well cared for everything is. Lots of outdoor seating under the arbor for talk and another cup of coffee before we went exploring in town. That's it, I'll stop, go find out for yourselves.

I had such a great time at the Kaleidoscope Inn. I stayed in the carriage house, it was clean and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous and well taken care of. It would be a beautiful place to hold a wedding. The main house was incredible, full of history and character. Rebecca, the Innkeeper, was friendly and helpful, I enjoyed the morning coffee, bagels, and eggs. I will definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed staying here we stayed in the cottage house for two nights. Loved the stone walls and outside grounds. Large trees with seating areas throughout for morning coffee or tea. The inn keeper was sweet and funny will be back soon!

We had our wedding here and it was a great experience. Beki is an awesome coordinator and helped us with our wedding planning, she kept us on check with the iterinary. Without her it would of been difficult to coordinate. Beki makes really good breakfast too! The overall experience was great and left a lasting impression on us. Beds are comfy, the garden is beautiful, food is delicious, are some of the things that come to mind when I think of this place. And of course the memories that were made on that special day Thank you Beki!

My best friend got married there! One of the best experiences I've ever had and it was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. Beki was so awesome during this journey with us. She helped out a lot and we all greatly appreciate her and her opening up her home to us. Thank you Beki for your awesome hospitality

Best bed and breakfast. It felt like I never even left my own house! The beds were so comfortable, nice bathrooms, and good tv service. Beki makes a good spread for breakfast in the morning ( and if you ask, she can even make pancakes, eggs, and some good potatoes). The outside is one of the best parts. They are on 1 acre of gardens. It's beautiful to just relax is the back garden under the gazebo. Everyone is friendly. I cant wait to come back soon.

My boyfriend and I went on a well needed 3 day weekend trip and stayed at this location. It was fantastic, the house is beautiful and mostly original. Very quiet, personal and relaxing. Our room was well kept and had beautiful antique furniture, not to mention the soft bed and cozy sheets. They offered a Continental breakfast, grab and go with fruit, ceral, bagels, ect but we had the option to request whatever we wanted. We had eggs, oat meal and potato hash most mornings which was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return.
