But no one alone can take credit for the operation of Jardines, it takes the hard work and efforts of a wealth of people, like Lizzette Ortiz, Nicolas Solis, and Pablo Garcia, these shift leaders along with the rest of our staff work very hard and always meet the challenges put forth; many thanks to each of them. Carlos Ortiz has spent most of his working career in the restaurant business.

Meh. Food and drinks felt muted, like the flavor was almost there but just fell short. Had the mango margarita and for the size of it I'd say it's overpriced. The chips are golden brown and crunchy but the salsa lacked spice. The patio is super cute though, great relaxing ambiance. This place has potential if only they dived into the Mexican flavor without fear but it could be due to the non Hispanic community that surrounds them.

Arguably the best tasting food in SJB. We've been coming here for years, but it finally hit me just how lucky we are to have Jardines close by: Insanely delicious food, perfect atmosphere, and great service. If you stop in SJB, please make time for this place! (And might I suggest the fish tacos!) Just awesome!

We were 7 for lunch. Waiter was excellent & gave us separate tags. The food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their lunch choices and we had virgin Margaritas- Apricot & Strawberry yummy. We didn't want to drink & drive. It was 91 degrees but we were on the patio with plenty of shade making those Margaritas even more enjoyable.

We went here after visiting the Nor Cal Renaissance Faire. I have been wanting to try this place so it worked out perfectly. It was about 25 mins away from the faire. I brought my family and a few friends with me. I suggested this place to my friends so it made me look good! Nico was our server. The service was awesome! We had a nice time and our food was so good.
I was wearing a Pirates costume that didn't have pockets and ended up leaving my wallet there. (I live about two hours away) I didn't realize I left my wallet until the next day. I called and and they had kept it in their safe. Manager Gabe Ramirez and Jolene helped me over the phone. They mailed my wallet back to me! I was so relieved I didn't have to drive all the way back to get my wallet. I am so thankful to the entire staff. I will be back for the amazing food and service! Thank you Jardines!

Came in for a Family Dinner Night on a Sunday evening and were seated right away on the cutest patio ever. This restaurant is located in a small downtown area that looks really old fashioned/western vibes and it's seriously the best. We were brought chips and salsa and water right away and the server was nice. Our two margaritas from the bar were super strong.
You definitely get what you pay for. The kids meal was of good size and came out very quickly. I ordered chili relleno and it came with rice and beans. Super flavorful and good. My wife ordered the chef tacos and it came with rice and beans also. Best favors ever she says. The patio is pet friendly and offers a lot of shade and outdoor seating. Will definitely be here again. Side note: Tuesday is all you can eat tacos as the daily special!

We were here 2 yrs ago n been wanting to return. We had our chance. Finishing up our 5 wonderful nights Camping in Santa Cruz n my hubby wanted to take me out for a nice late lunch before heading home. Colorful settings with umbrella n beautiful plants. Great service My Hubby Ordered Cheese Enchilada n Shredded beef Taco n Rice n beans. Sadly the taco didn't hold up.
Just fell apart. But tasty. I loved my Chile Verde n beans n rice was great. it was generous n couldn't eat n I know My Honey will eat the leftovers. They tried to put people on tables with distance Too bad they close down the Garden this time Enjoyed our Meal. It's a nice area to stroll down n look at little shops here at San Juan Bautista.
