Invitations Etc

This review is long overdue but I cannot stress enough how amazing Steve was from start to finish. Run, don't walk to Invitations, Etc. for all your invitation and printing needs. As a COVID-bride with less than 4 months to go until the big day, I felt the pressure of printing and sending my wedding invites on time. I found Invitations, Etc. from a simple Google search, and I am so glad I stumbled upon this small, but mighty company.

Less than an hour after placing my initial inquiry, I was greeted by a friendly email from Steve asking to learn more about what I was looking for. I had told him that I was essentially creating my invitation template from scratch, and I needed someone who could print white ink on black cardstock to achieve the modern, minimalist look I was going for. Steve assured me this was possible and provided all the tips and tricks you could think of.

Mind you, this is before I even agreed to proceed with Invitations, Etc.! He provided me with thoroughness, attention to detail, and care from Day 1. From then on, Steve took my idea and brought it to life. At this point, our invites were merely a few words on an online template. From the first draft to the final draft, Steve helped me along the way.

He worked with me to create an invitation suite comprised of the main invite, a details card, and an RSVP card. From measurements to grammar to wording, Steve helped me through it all. He paid close attention to every draft I sent (a lot) and offered sound advice after every edit. He was thorough, but never tried to overstep. He always made sure my vision, wants, and needs came first.

When it finally came down to printing, I was met with a reasonable turnaround time of about 2 weeks. He emailed me on a frequent basis to keep me updated, especially when we ran into a small hiccup with black cardstock availability. Even then, Steve pulled all the stops to ensure the wedding invites were ready in a timely fashion. I'm not sure what magic he pulled, but he managed to get me my invites less than 3 weeks!

When I picked up the invites from his store in Batavia, Steve greeted me at the door and had a copy of my invites perfectly displayed on the table waiting for me to see. I was nearly moved to tears by how great the invites looked. Even after all his hard work was done, Steve still took the time to share helpful information on the best way to prepare the invitation, envelope sizing, and how stamps worked.

Side note, it was a cold and rainy afternoon when I picked my invitations up and he emailed me later that day to make sure the invites and I made it home safely. Steve is a true gentleman! Steve- thank you for your tremendous work and care! To anyone reading this, please do not think twice about hiring Invitations, Etc. for your invitation and printing needs! 10/10!

Steve is really great to work with. He transforms your idea into a memorable invitation. Have used him for wedding showers, baby showers, and weddings. I highly recommend them! Great local business, exceptionally professional.

It was FABULOUS to work with Steve! He handled ALL of our wedding details for my daughter's wedding- save the date, invitations, etc. He helped when we needed to make Change of Plans cards (due to Covid) and was quick and efficient with the numerous changes we had to make due to venue changes. We were extremely pleased with the quality and creative designs that Steve created to match the perfect theme for the wedding. Highly recommend Steve for ALL your wedding needs!

Steve is THE BEST! He has such a great personality and is very knowledgeable. He did my save the dates, wedding invitations, and napkins. His work exceeded my expectations! Everything looked AMAZING. I would highly recommend going to this shop! I was originally not expecting much from the invitation aspect of wedding planning. So as you can imagine I was caught off guard by how much I absolutely LOVE my wedding invitations! The invitation process has actually been my favorite part of the wedding planning this far! I did not think getting my invitations done in a shop with one on one service would be something that could stay in my price range, but Steve was more than willing to work with my budget.

He was completely honest and straightforward about pricing throughout the whole process. Which by the way, was so much fun! It was such an enjoyable experience going through the whole creative process with Steve and coming out with something unique to me and so beautiful. I am so happy I stumbled across this hidden gem. Steve puts 100 percent into his work and it shows.

He was very quick to respond, had phenomenal attention to detail, great advice and all around very professional. Had I gone with the website I was looking at, I would have had to pay $10 in shipping alone, just to see a sample in person and would have had to miss out on this great experience. Thank you so much Steve! Your business definitely exceeded my expectations. It's nice to have such a great local business to recommend to family and friends!

We worked with Steve for our wedding invites and signs throughout our wedding reception. Steve was so great to work with! Very knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and happy! He was good at learning our style and helped out so much when making choices! When we didn't know what to do, we left our trust in him and he did NOT DISAPPOINT! Steve handled the invitations, menu cards, placement cards and thank you cards for our wedding. All of the cards looked beautiful and elegant. Steve was incredibly responsive and professional during the entire experience. His work and attention to detail is excellent. Everyone had wonderful things to say about our cards. Steve was one of my favorite vendors (if not my favorite vendor!) to work with. His communication was spot on and he made you feel like you were the only client he was working with. His taste and eye for design: impeccable! Steve gave us so many personal recommendations and he brought our vision to life. My husband and I were thrilled with how our paper products turned out (including church programs and thank you cards!) We received so many compliments from our family and friends and it's all thanks to Steve! You definitely want Steve a part of your wedding vendor "dream team"! You won't be disappointed!

I have never written a google review before, but it was worth making the first one so I could give my recommendation for Steve at Invitations Etc. I cannot speak highly enough about his professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail. Not only is he excellent at his job, but he cares about the quality of his product and that his customers leave happy.

He printed the invitations for both my bridal shower and wedding in a very timely manner. He worked within our budget and specific requests (the wording for having both a destination and at-home reception), and helped us find a wedding invitation that matched our theme perfectly. As other reviewers have said, he has been by far the best vendor to work with in the whole wedding process and I have been recommending him to other people. Choose Steve and invitations Etc!

We had visit other places and we got turn away, and some places were priced very high. What I am about to write, know that our experience with Steve has been a perfect and an amazing start from the day I walked into his store. He never made me walk away even when it was by appointment only. Steve welcome me and my soon to be beautiful wife. He answered all our questions on day one ( I walked in).

He even showed us some examples of invitations that we liked. We set a date to go over more details of what we were looking for. He even took it a step further by sending more samples. The day we finally had our appointment, Steve was very Professional, but made us laugh and feel at easy. He walked us through each invitations we liked, but wanted us to find the one we would love.

We found the perfect one for us. He helped with more samples throughout our process. I just have nothing but great things to say about coming to this wonderful place. If you are looking for someone to help you find the perfect invitation. I just have to say come here you will never regret it. You will be treated with care, laughter and like you two are the most important persons in the world.

Steve designed my husbands surprise 40th party invitations and they were so great that my sister in law used him for my baby shower invites! Steve was really awesome to work with and I will go to him for any event that needs invitations and thank you cards! I love that they are custom invitations and I also love that he addresses them for you and just need stamps! Steve goes above and beyond!

Steve at Invitations Ect did a fantastic job with both my wedding invitation and thank you postcards! First, we had our wedding invitations shipped from India where they were purchased. Unfortunately we had issues getting them printed in India, so by the time they arrived here I was very stressed about finding someone who would be able to get them printed quickly. Steve stepped in and accommodated us from the beginning.

He gave us recommendations and suggestions that made the whole process much easier. He communicated every step of the way, which for a stress out bride is all you could ask for! After our wedding I contacted him to make a wedding thank you postcard. I originally was going to get them printed through Zazzle, but the shipping fee alone stopped me. I sent Steve a screen shot of the postcard I designed through Zazzle and he replicated it with no problem. The cost was MUCH cheaper, too! The postcards turned out beautiful. I would highly recommend going to Steve! Thank you!

Steve is awesome! He was very up front about the costs of wedding invitations. I came in with big, elaborate ideas and he discussed them with me. He takes time with the customers. He will show you all of the options and costs. He does his mock ups in a timely manner and quotes very fair prices. He even had to reprint a few things for us (our mess ups) and had them done at our convenience and very quickly. We used him for invites, programs and place cards. Loved working with this company! I highly recommend using them for all your invitation needs! They go above and beyond.

We went to Invitations Ect for Prom Tux 2 years in a row. Great service and I highly recommend using this local owned shop. They have better prices better service and you work with someone that knows the industry. We drive 30 min away to get the great service and it's worth my time!

I used Invitations, Etc to decorate for my wedding and reception. Steve was already at the venue the night before setting up during the rehearsal. We took his last booking available for the day of our wedding, so I appreciated that he started the night before to make sure everything was perfect. We had our wedding at the Roundhouse and the ceremony was in the gazebo.

The decorations he used for that were absolutely breathtaking. Then we went into the reception, and everything looked better than I had hoped. I basically just provided him with a photo of a head table and a bolt of fabric and he made the head table look amazing. I wish I had gotten the chance to speak with him in person about how lovely I thought everything was.

I will add some pictures once I have them. We got so many compliments on how everything looked. I appreciated the attention to detail especially having been a largely DIY bride due to my tendency to be a bit of a control freak.
