Vero Heritage, Inc has developed cleaning protocols that are consistent at this time with guidelines established by the CDC and the Governor of Florida. Vero Heritage, Inc strongly encourages all renters to check regularly CDC guidelines for updated recommendations, understanding that renters will make decisions about how to host their own events depending on a number of factors. We encourage renters to consider alternatives for potential guests that might be considered to be in a vulnerable population.

Thanks in part to CARES Act and ARP Act funding through Florida Humanities, Vero Heritage Inc was able to continue to offer important programs to our community. We are deeply appreciative of the support.
None of us could imagine Vero Beach without the Heritage Center. For 85 years, our stories, our memories, and our lives have been rooted in this special place. The Heritage Center was once on the city's demolition list. Together, we can ensure that future generations continue to make their own special memories here.

Absolutely love this building and the staff that run it. Summer 2020 we had my daughters wedding here and it was spectacular. I have been here for many business meetings and other events as well. The fun little extra treat here is the Citrus Museum - don't miss it! This building has an enormously fascinating history, including bears, monkeys and lots more. Make sure you look up more and find out all the cool things about this old building.

The Vero Heritage Museum is such a special part of our community and the downtown area! Heather, the Executive Director is extremely welcoming and kind and ensures all visitors receive the red carpet treatment! If you are in the area, be sure to stop by, donate, and shop local finds that helps support local businesses!

Take a few moments and learn about this part of Florida's agricultural history. Free to visit and attached to the community hall & heritage center, the museum is a short walk from the shops & events taking place in Pocahontas Park. Souvenirs from local vendors help provide funding for the operation. Thumbs up.

This historic landmark should be on everyone's go-to list. The history of citrus in our county is very interesting and the local-made items they carry for gifts are a must-see! They also have a beautiful hall with stage for entertaining, banquets and weddings. We've held several beautiful rugby banquets here over the past few years. Highly recommend! The staff go above and beyond. Love them!

Great place to have an event, it did get hot but that was it. The building it self was very nice and spacious, in all I had a great experience.

Very nice historical type atmosphere. Family has had two weddings at this location. Know if you have wedding outside on patio planes overhead can be a distraction.

The Heritage Center is at the heart of Vero Beach and Indian River County. It bears the weight of glory of our best and worst times in its bones. From Citrus to USO Dances to Civic Planning to Coffee with the Mayor the Heritage Center provides a trail our history and a path forward as Community. How fitting to recently attend the Laura Riding Jackson Poetry & BBQ event where Sean Sexton brought the Cowboys to town. Some of the best from the National Cowboy Gathering in Elko, NV recited, sang, and set a poem to music for a welcoming audience.

Vero Beach Historically significant Citrus Museum is also an excellent event venue. We recommend the convenient in town location and pleasant accommodations to support maintaining the Heritage Center.

A quaint little neighbourhood civic museum with helpful staff and a lot of information on the history of the citrus fruit industry in Florida. Has some old machines, okay displays and information. As a community museum, it should be treated as a short visit to obtain information on the area, learn about the citrus industry, and chat with the local staff. There are some decent restaurants within easy walking distance and a nice park for the kids to play in next door.
