Homewood

My husband and I were so absolutely overjoyed by our beautiful wedding experience at Homewood. Our small wedding of about 40 people was perfect, and we couldn't believe how gorgeous everything turned out. We are beyond thankful for Kristie, the on-site coordinator, who absolutely nailed every aspect of the night. If you're looking for a perfect, historic, scenic place to get married, this is it. Additionally, the new wedding party suite upstairs is incredible. Seriously, I can't sing enough praises about this venue. A thousand times over, thank you Homewood!

An absolutely beautiful and intimate wedding venue, like being at a fairytale castle. Loved the bear visit at the end, made for an authentic "In the woods" feel.

Deciding to have our wedding at Homewood was the best decision for our wedding! It was absolutely beautiful, and Nikki was phenomenal! She worked with me to attain everything I wanted for my wedding day, and even came to the rescue when our original florist bowed out a month before the wedding. I can't recommend Homewood for your wedding enough. It was the most magical day, and it truly was all thanks to our amazing vendors and Nikki!

One of the nicest, most convenient and grandiose wedding venues. Everything was understated until you walked into the Grand Hall paneled in dark oak (is my guess). The actual ceremony took place outdoors in an intimate nook surrounded by the most beautiful evergreens complete with an exquisite natural limbs rectangular arbor. It accommodated about 80 people.

After the ceremony we headed for the Great Hall for an elegant sit down dinner. The space was most enjoyable with high ceilings and stone fireplaces. It was huge which accommodated the pandemic rigors in social distancing. Just perfect.

A very nice, well-kept, upscale rental venue. Wish the main hall had more electrical outlets. Parking is behind the venue. Beautiful park across the street. Recommend.

This historic building is very pretty and unique with the stone exterior and castle-like appearance. The inside has a lot of wood with hardwood flooring and wood paneling on the walls. There are no great views here. Although you would technically be having a mountain wedding, you're in downtown Asheville and you won't actually have any pretty mountain views.

There seemed to be plenty of parking. Guests can park in the dedicated gravel lot or easily parallel park on the street. There wasn't a lot of thru traffic in that area so traffic isn't really a concern. The staff are good at relaying info like when tour groups will be driving by and possibly making noise. I was just a guest at a wedding, so I don't know costs or how the experience is working with their staff or preferred vendors.

Homewood is beautiful venue that makes for magical photos. Nikki is great to work with; she provided a detailed schedule ahead of time so that I could formulate my photography plan for my bride and groom. I'm always excited to be able to make the couple's experience even better and more relaxed, and I can definitely do that at Homewood!

Gorgeous, rustic/vintage, and stone castle. Dark, castle-like, vibes inside including a fireplace, wooden rooms, and old windows. Great for when you want a castle vibe, but don't necessarily need to rent the other castle-like home in Asheville. Perfect for intimate, modern, simplistic, or vintage weddings. Clean venue, friendly staff, and general overall simplistic beauty. Nikki handled the wedding with ease and was easily approachable, making it super easy to get along.

Homewood is the perfect wedding venue. We chose Homewood for our daughter's wedding reception last weekend. Nikki answered emails promptly and helped us through the process. She was there throughout the night, making sure everything went as planned. The exterior of Homewood was so beautiful for an evening wedding. With lanterns lining the walkway (we were allowed to provide) and a bagpiper playing, the beauty of Homewood's exterior set the stage for a wonderful evening.

As I entered the dining hall with flowers, greenery and candles galore, I was speechless. Throughout the evening, our guests commented on the beauty of this venue. I would highly recommend Homewood for wedding events. It definitely set the stage for a fairytale evening.
