The Hastings House Garden is a one-of-a-kind site for your wedding or event. Hastings House is a lovely private outdoor setting, on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. The site is protected by a grove of trees that help create an intimate, natural setting in the midst of the San Francisco Bay Area. In this site you will find everything you need to plan a beautiful wedding, vow renewal, elopement, event, baby blessing, retreat or other special occasion in the Half Moon Bay Area.

Music performed by guitarist Richard Patterson. The garden is in bloom throughout the year. Peak seasons for blooms are spring, summer and fall.

The venue was intimate, beautiful and serene, Linda was very helpful and communicated professionally and clearly. I'm so grateful for her help in making sure our wedding day went smoothly. In addition to hosting the venue for our ceremony, Linda also took pictures and coordinated a guitarist and officiant. Our wedding had a lot less stress involved thanks to her experience and knowledge of what works and what doesn't. Thank you Linda and team!

We looked at 19 Bay Area wedding venues and Hastings House turned out to be our top choice. What a unique gem! Linda thoughtfully cultivated every nook and cranny of this stunning, enchanted garden space. My wife and I had the pleasure of having Linda photograph us there, separate from the wedding itself so it was just the two of us. It was such a serene, blissful experience to get to be in the silence and beauty of this extraordinary setting holding my new bride as Linda staged and skillfully captured one tender moment after another.

I toured this venue and unfortunately we ended up postponing our plans but would still love to consider this location as a fantastic place for a private setting and intimate wedding. The grounds are magnificently groomed and very well kept as well as loved by the owner and land keeper. Absolutely stunning, it's nestled across the street from the beautiful beach and Pacific ocean and just down the way from dining and local artists. This is truly a gem.

My husband and I had our wedding here late last summer and it was an absolute dream. I had been searching for wedding spots all over the place including destination weddings and when my friend and I saw this garden, I became teary eyed. I knew this venue was perfect. The garden is so peaceful and it gives off a simple outdoorsy yet beautifully elegant vibe that I was in love with.
You can tell that a lot of work, care, and love has been given to the garden, which made me love it even more. Linda was extremely prompt answering all questions that I had and she was a great person to work with. She knows a lot about Half Moon Bay and gives you a list of nearby places to hold reception, get flowers, and officiants. She is upfront about her pricing and there were absolutely no hidden costs.
We had a small wedding with under 50 guests and it was perfect, (the garden can hold more people though). Need a photographer? Have Linda do the photography! Linda and an assistant took our photos, and they turned out amazing. They even had photography shades and reflectors, (not sure of the proper term), to help get proper lighting outdoors. We received a lot of compliments on our photos and we're so appreciative! Overall, I give this venue 10 out of 5 stars. They go above and beyond to make sure that you have the wedding of your dreams. It was perfect. Thank you!

I'm a wedding coordinator who had a wedding at Hastings House. All of our guests, including bride and groom, were so impressed by this beautiful garden. The light, the view, the sea. All of those contributed to the unforgettable memory for a perfect wedding. Plus, highly recommend the catering services. Their food is delicious! Highly recommend this venue to our couples.
