Really nice place to vacation. Staff were really friendly. Loved the drink option by check in desk definitely recommend trying! Room was really nice and clean. Shower doors are kind of weird so be mindful of your hands they don't stay open and slide quickly. Best part of this place is the beach. Beyond beautiful and each hotel guest is allowed one cabana which is great.

This was our first time staying in this resort and we were very pleased. The rooms were clean a big! We have a two King size bed room and it was perfect, everyone slept well! The staff is all amazing. Starting with the front desk which was very welcoming. The staff at the beach/cabanas was always super nice and willing to give you advice on places to visit.

The staff at Bongos was also very friendly and professional. We checked out on Easter Day and the girl at the reception brought eggs and chocolate for kids, it made my son's day! I highly recommend!

We had an ocean view room with a balcony and 2 king beds. The room was nice and very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the view was awesome. We were on the same side as Bongo's so we were able to hear the live music every night until midnight. That did not bother us, but it may be a problem for others, especially those with children. We were able to get either an umbrella or a cabana on the beach every day, but I would suggest going out a little early to get one.

They do not service the rooms daily so you have to ask for more towels if you need them beforehand, and we were able to get fresh towels very quickly. We emptied our own trash in the large bin near the elevator daily so I cannot comment on how quickly they respond to that particular request. I would suggest that they put larger waste baskets/trash cans in the rooms to help alleviate this issue some.

We never had a problem finding a parking space even though the lot always looked full (they do have a parking attendant). At times, there were crowds waiting for the 2 operational elevators, usually during peak meal times when patrons were going up to the rooftop restaurant. My biggest complaint would be the overall value. You would expect more for the amount of money you are spending. Granted, pandemic-related staffing shortages could be the reason the rooms are not serviced daily.

The hotel was beautiful and had the best location! Rooms were very large and clean. Located right on the beach and a heated large nice pool that overlooks the ocean. Food was great, Bongo's beach bar was a great time! I have to give a shout out to the man, the myth, the legend- LJ himself. He made sure we always had our spots on the beach and never went thirsty! Great trip and would highly recommend staying here!

I agree with so many of these reviews. This hotel has zero amenities. There is no valet, just a parking lot. When we pulled up to ask the person told us to park anywhere and he guesses he could help us with our bags if we need it. The front desk is oddly placed in the back of the hotel, and we were awkwardly given two Ferrero Rocher chocolates as our welcome gift.

The hotel has been recently renovated, but quickly renovated. There were exposed lighting wiring in the hallways, the doors were not replaced, just painted. I hope someone finally cleaned the gum from the door of the room directly across from the elevator. The bathrooms were nicely updated, but the grout is black. Housekeeping does not come to clean, so I'm afraid of how dirty that shower really was.

We were in a "suite" and had an ocean front room with 2 balconies. The one balcony door did not completely latch close, and the other while we assumed it was safe, we did not go out there nor allow our children on the balcony. The furniture was vinyl, sand resistant material. Great during a pandemic because you can wipe it off, but not great to sit on.

We were there for a wedding. The wedding was lovely as was the venue. During the 4 days we were there, we saw 8 different weddings outside our room. With that also came the music. The music is quite loud and we could clearly hear it in our room until the wedding was over. We have small children, who were not able to go to sleep until it was over. It was cold while we were there, so we did not use the pool, but it is very small. The beach and the sunsets were beautiful. It is quite close to Tampa zoo and aquarium and those were wonderful.

This hotel is definitely not a luxury hotel, but the rooms were comfortable and clean and the balcony is accessible! We had an ocean view with two king beds, which was the selling point for us. Our party of two kids and two adults sprawled out and slept like babies each night so we did not regret this room. However, there was a wedding each night and the music was blaring until late at night so I wouldn't stay here with young kids if they go to bed early.

The hotel is within walking distance to some amazing restaurants (Breakfast @ Cafe Soleil, Lunch @ Rum Runners and Dinner @ Snappers or 1200 Chophouse just to name a few). The beach is perfect with low waves and amazingly soft white sand! The cabanas and beach side service are an awesome amenity and made our stay enjoyable for the most part. It took 4hrs to get ONE drink in the cabana our first day here, but didn't have any issues going forward. Bongos (outdoor on-site restaurant) had live music, creative and delicious drinks, and good food. ***My biggest complaint is that they are NOT servicing the rooms unless it is requested and they had horrible attitudes when we requested more towels, coffee, trash empty, or an occasional sweep of the sand.

We were here 9 days and I called a couple of times for fresh towels and to have our overflowing baby trash cans emptied. On day 5 I asked for new sheets, towels, and coffee and I was met with a STRONG attitude. I don't need everything perfect and I can do most of it myself, but then what is the point of vacation and why on earth am I paying $400/night?

The room with the balcony was very clean and decorated on the 7th floor. Since I reserved my room early I got a good deal. Enjoyed dinner in Spinners in the revolving restaurant on top of the hotel. The food was fantastic. Also enjoyed lunch on the beach in Bongos. The beach itself is right there at the hotel and it is absolutely beautiful. This is one of my best hotels in Florida. Also the manager Sean was very helpful and nice with any issues I had to help make my stay as good as it could be. I was very grateful for his help.
