It is a memorable place it kinda reminds me of the Hearst's Castle small version, good food waiters and Tara the Lady that kinda tells you about the place gives you information. Beautiful Place to take pictures. They rent the Place for wedding's have to make reservations. Really enjoy myself with my honey.

Wedding last week was spectacular Planning process began in April 2021 and staff were impeccable start to finish. Price for location, ceremony and reception was incredible. Good food, service, overnight accommodations, after-party and relaxed breakfast made for a memorable magical and unforgettable wrap to our wedding! Our day of coordinator was Debbie, who was great and supportive during the ceremony/reception. Our attendant for overnight through the next day was Michelle - so fabulous and friendly! Definitely recommend GIM for wedding or other memorable occasion!

OMG. I feel like I stepped out of Sacramento civilization and stepped back into time when there were horse and carriages for transportation. Okay, maybe not that too far back in time - but seriously, this establishment is beautiful and was the prefect backdrop for my cousin's wedding. Driving up you'll feel like you're not in the right place but then bam, this mansion appears out of no where.

The grounds are well maintained. You can tell from the actual exterior of the mansion to the well manicured grass throughout. This mansion is the perfect location for any party gathering, especially a wedding! Only thing is the parking for guests. There is a small parking lot in the back, but if you have over 80 guests some will have to park along the street. At night this street gets really dark. Drive safe and Check it out!

What an Amazing celebration we have at Grand island mansion! Very nice venue! Amazing mansion with lots of rooms for our guests. Very good service and excellent food. It's been 4 years now since the wedding but still fresh in our minds how beautiful and happy we are that night.

Our 1st time here and it was for the Easter Brunch. The exterior grounds are very warm and inviting as we walked from the parking area. The hostess greeted us at the front door to the mansion. She offered my wife and I a drink of white Zinfandel and juice. Excellent. She seated us at our table in a very beautiful dining area. Our table was a quiet romantic spot off to the side and close to a fountain.

We were greeted by a team of 2 fantastic servers. They were very helpful in explaining the setup for food, and general information about the mansion itself. We were then offered Mimosas and shown the way to the buffet. The buffet contained a good variety of food choices. All that we tried were excellent. The fresh greens for salad, a pear dressing, 2 choices of bread.

Next were the cubed beets, asparagus with carrots, mushroom crepes, ham, salmon and prime rib with au jus and horseradish. We both went for a second but less food trip since the dessert table glares at you when you first enter the food area. We of course had some dessert and coffee to top things off

Oh, my goodness. Just returned from easter brunch at the Grand Mansion. It certainly lives up to its name. Besides being beautiful and elegant, the service is magnificent. You can't begin to think about I wish I had before someon shows up with exactly what you were thinking. The food is plentiful and superb. Every detail was spectacular. A very special thank you to Brittany for making our Easter so very special.

I will start by saying I would like to give this place 3.5 Stars. I leaned toward 4 because of the service. I'd like to give you an overview of the good and bad, then get into details later on. The good: Brunch buffet is good. The desserts are top notch. Service is superb. The whole experience is quite nice. The price is exceptionally reasonable. Cons: stylistically, and aesthetically, the details are a bit sus.

This is nitpicky and does not actually have anything to do with the food or service, and I've mostly kept it out of the rating, but I did want to note some of the things. So, the food is good, but remember this is a buffet. The menu is streamlined, there is no custom ordering, and it is scalable without a loss of quality. The food is changed out quickly, generally before the tray is empty, so you're always getting something fresh.

This is notable as most places would be unwilling to waste food (or money). Their menu is on their website, so if you're curious about what is being served, go take a look. The mimosas are bottomless, and this brings me to the service and experience. It's excellent; once you are seated, they bring you mimosas (or just champagne or orange juice) and if it ever runs low, it gets filled.

When you get up to go get your food, it will be refilled when you return. If you'd like coffee, just ask! They will bring you a cup and saucer and whatever amount of cream and sugar you'd like. If you want something else, again, just ask! The servers are very attentive, super nice, and very chill. Nit picky details So, detail wise, I think the place looks great and has a great atmosphere, but the consistency of these details has me feeling odd.

For starters the 'Mozart Room' is full of Japanese decorations and theming. This trend continues with rooms named after composers but having no real relation to them. Again, this is quite nit picky, I admit, and most people won't notice because it's really a place for events or a light morning brunch; if you lose the forest for the trees like I usually do, you'll raise a brow or two, but most everyone else will just enjoy being in a space that is different than most other things around. Ultimately, I'd say this place has a menagerie of style in the details; english baroque and tuscan villa are vaguely similar but quite different. Is that really a problem in central California?

Certainly not. The decor is nice and it honestly seems like a great place to have an event. I don't think you'd be disappointed in any sense with this place being the backdrop for an important event in your life. I imagine, in any case, this brunch serves to sort of advertise the space for events, and it does a good job of that. It is a nice experience that is at least worth experiencing once.

(Review for Wedding Venue) We got married in June of 2021 here. Everything went flawless. The venue is gorgeous, the prices were spectacular, parking was painless, food was amazing, the cake was to die for, and everything was super comfortable. The only thing that is a little quircky is the bathrooms. Something that you probably didn't know you needed but would really appreciate is a venue coordinator.

They assign someone to you, and this person is on a radio the whole time with the mansion team. they are so on top of everything. They help with the ceremony order, coordinate with your vendors, bring in your decorations (yes! you can re-use your outdoor decorations as center pieces), they put little things on the table for you, keep the groom away while you get ready, etc. I absolutely loved eveyrthign about our special day, and a huge part of it was due to our coordinator and the amazing GIM team!

I have NEVER in my life been to a more spectacular wedding than the wedding at the Grand Island Mansion. The couple were married east of the mansion. After the ceremony, the guests were invited inside the mansion to sip champagne and eat hors d'oeuvres. Then the wedding party guests were ushered to the open area east of the mansion. The bride and groom came down from the staircase and danced their first dance.

We were asked to go further east into a humongous tent with beautiful white flowers and white lights. The dinner was a buffet including Prime rib and roasted chicken. DELICIOUS! If you are looking for a fairytale wedding, you should go check this out and also hire Marquis as your DJ and wedding consultant.

Fairy tale wedding! We chose GIM for our wedding venue and would do so again. It was a destination wedding for us, who live out of state, so it was very helpful to have a team of staff to help us coordinate and answer our questions. One thing to note was that there was not assistance for the rehearsal portion and we had a bit of a communication breakdown but the staff was accommodating.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the food is amazingly delicious (many of our guests said so, too). We also rented the 13 rooms and yacht for the wedding party. The rooms are all unique and beautifully decorated. The beds and comfy and there is lots of extra lounging space. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The late-night snacks and morning breakfast foods were, again, delicious.

We truly appreciated having all the services GIM provides wrapped into one, including the cake (which was very customizable and tasty). We felt special and that everything was taken care of.

We got married here and it was such a dream! The food was amazing, everyone from the mansion has so helpful! Elena and Hilda were assisting us as bride and groom throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. We didnt use the tent for our wedding but every part of the mansion was amazing! They were so helpful leading up to the wedding and it was a once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend, even for their brunch! 10/10

Such a beautiful place to have brunch! The mansion is beautiful and you are able to explore the parts of the mansion that are open. Brunch was amazing. It was all you can eat for $40. Unlimited mimosas, the variety of food wasn't huge but what of what they did have everything was executed perfectly. It is alittle far bit definitely worth the drive.
