I got married here in July of 2017 and it could not have been a more perfect venue. The pictures were stunning because of all of the vibrant colors in the trees and flowers. The house on the property is also gorgeous in photos. My guests were raving on the day of and when they saw my photos because for some reason, this venue is one of the lesser known ones.
Glen Magna Farms gardens and landscape provide an excellent back drop for professional photography. Owned and operated by the non-profit Danvers Historical Society, Glen Magna Farms is private property open to the public but receives no town funding. Thank you for your interest in this amazing historic property as a backdrop for your photo shoot. All photo sessions must be arranged in advance through the event office by calling 978-774-9165 or email Info@glenmagnafarms.org.

Wow, the wedding we photographed at Glen Magna Farms was magical. The garden estate wedding venue in the North Shore of Boston, tucked away in a quiet nook in Danvers. Our couples wedding ceremony was in the gardens and a gorgeous tent for their summer wedding reception. The grounds at this venue are so pretty and perfect. Everyone working was so friendly and helpful. Definitely a must see!

We had our Oct. wedding at Glen Magna and it was truly magical. The grounds are well kept and absolutely stunning. The mansion is in fantastic shape, full of history and beauty. So much to see and so many spots for amazing pictures. The staff was lovely to work with and the food from their exclusive caterer is phenomenal. We are so happy with our day and how accommodating and helpful the staff were. Best venue I've ever been to and so happy we had our wedding here.

Do not do a wedding her. Venue staff will will bother and harass guests, venue manager yelled at kids, food over cooked, wrong food delivered to table, bar over charged for drinks during the open bar and at 9pm sharp they will turn the lights on high hand you a bar bill demanding payment and kick you out. Do not, do not, do not book a wedding here.

A pandemic wedding is possible! Like most COVID-19 couples, we didn't know what to expect or what would be possible for a scaled-down wedding during a pandemic. We had reservations with another venue and less than a month before our wedding date, we booked with Glen Magna Farms. From that moment on, everything seemed possible. The location is out of a fairy tale (trust us, go visit the large Willow Tree they have on their property) and our guests could walk amongst the gardens and grounds to socially distance when necessary.

The staff were incredible, keeping us up-to-date and on schedule during the reception. Right now, everyone is more comfortable outside and Glen Magna has a wonderful tent that allowed us to have 50 guests (including us!) plus their staff, our photographer, DJ, etc. We didn't feel the pandemic "looming over us" at all; instead, we got to have a beautiful wedding at what may be the most gorgeous venue Greater Boston offers. Walk the grounds (it's free to visit) and book your wedding with Glen Magna Farms.

Great place for a wedding or any other function! Garden is absolutely stunning! The mansion is a well preserved piece of history that you can actually walk through and touch. Lots of parking and a 2 minute drive to interstate 95.

Beautiful venue for a wedding or other event So many beautiful flowers and trees/shrubs. The decor and wallpaper inside the house is also very beautiful and charming and comes with destinction of each wall about the art on the wall paper and info about the history about the house. Highly recommend for weddings or other special events or just for a nice nature walk.

Our wedding day was perfect, the venue is breathtaking, Heather, the on-site coordinator, was wonderful and everything went perfectly. They were so accommodating to my requests. Sometime it could take a day or two to get a response early in the planning, but as we got closer to the date, that was no longer an issue. The venue was beautiful and Heather was a wonderful event manager.

Everything ran like a well oiled machine, taking away so many of my worries. Glen Magna is a great deal, honestly. The venue is magical, their preferred vendors are great, and the limited options make decision making easier, the event manager on site included with the booking is a huge cost saving, and the fact that they don't have a liquor license means you can have alcohol delivered whole sale and pay for consumption, saving a ton compared to places that force you to pay a set amount for all guests. I could not have been happier with our day!

My husband and I recently got married at Glen Magna Farms this past September and they had beyond exceeded our expectations in every way. From our first visit the Venue, completely mesmerized us as it did to each of our guests on our big day. The beautiful historic estate is hidden away surrounded by so many fun and unique gardens/coves on the grounds.

Which made for breathtaking photos. Heather and Robin were great and very helpful. Robin was our wedding coordinator the day of our wedding and she was amazing! She ensured everything went smoothing and kept my day stress free. Our day couldn't have been more perfect and it had a lot to do with the great team and beautiful grounds at Glen Magna Farms. I would highly recommend any couple to visit Glen Magna Farms because I guarantee they will walk away just as mesmerized as my Husband and I were.

Glen Magna is a beautiful venue; the inside of the mansion is gorgeous, and the gardens are wonderful, even in October. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the gardens and house were, and they really seemed to enjoy spending the ceremony and reception time there. The coordinators definitely know what they are doing, and will help to orchestrate the walk-through before, the rehearsal, and the day of.

From our interactions with both of the wedding coordinators, Heather was more up-front and attentive to our needs as a couple. Robin came off, on several occasions, as a used car salesman with double-speak and trying to send business to specific friends/colleagues. We did have some issues getting in touch with the coordinators and scheduling visits, given that they tend to only be on-site a couple of days per week, and the weekends (from early spring through late fall) are completely scheduled for weddings. (So, if you're coming from out of town, it is very difficult to make a time work.) Ultimately, if we were doing it again, we would definitely use Glen Magna again, and we were really happy with the results on the day of our wedding.
