I absolutely LOVED working with Aleetha and Tawanda for my hair and makeup! They are the most fun people to be around. They came to my house for my trial which made it so easy for me. They brought their happiness and joy in and set to work. The outcome was beautiful so my family and I asked them to do our hair and makeup for my wedding. This time, they came all the way to my mom's house. It was so nice not to have to be up and out of the house on the day of, and so nice to be at my mom's house for such a special occasion.

Rachael was everything we could hope for and more. We weren't thinking of hiring any type of planner but after thoroughly thinking and imagining how crazy the day-of would be, it only made sense to hire a day-of planner. Her bubbly personality and professionalism was the perfect fit for our wedding! She was patient, helpful, reliable, and a total problem solver with her awesome tool bag.

She was able to quickly fix up exposed bra straps and a fallen tux button within minutes! What we loved the most was that she worked WITH us and was super accommodating and flexible with regards to our timeline and our wants/needs for our special day. She also saved us by recommending a wonderful florist last minute. Our parents and our entire bridal party loved her attitude and personality and gave us glowing feedback on her.

She has a knack for keeping people calm and "in the loop" despite all the day-of craziness. She is THE BEST vendor you could have on your wedding list. We would give 10 stars if we could. Thanks again Rachael!

Let me just tell the truth: my wedding was perfect because Rachael made it so! Rachael took care of every single last detail. We worked with Rachael for day-of-coordination, and I am so glad we did. We thought we had everything planned so perfectly, but Rachael just knows things. She knows that schedules are merely conditional promises, she knows that photographers are on a busy mission, and she knows that toddlers need time to get flower-girl ready. Rachael created a glorious, custom schedule and gave hard copies to everyone at the rehearsal dinner; this made all the difference in the world.

Even my Dad, who is such a creature of habit, knew exactly where to find his morning coffee, where to go to take the right pictures, and where to find the after-party all because of Rachael's efforts. Rachael helped me into my gown, helped the photos stay on time, and even became a hair stylist when my extensions gave me bad beehive vibes and turned it into a perfect little bun that stayed put as I danced the night away. Honestly, you need Rachael. Your event is going to be flawless, and she will be the reason why! Thank you so much, Rachael! Our day was a dream come true.

Rachael from Glass Slipper is a gem. Self-assured, trustworthy, prompt, and generous with her time. She's enthusiastic and not afraid of a little DIY. A few of my favorite things about working with Rachael: - She gave excellent recommendations for DJs and photographers, two areas of the whole wedding planning process that I was dreading because it just seemed so exhausting.

She was spot-on with her recommendation. How? She knows her clients and she knows her vendors, and makes recommendations based not just on budget and style but personality match. She can read people well and knows who will just make that "connection"." She went above and beyond to help us find an outdoor venue for our ceremony. Ultimately, we went with an indoor option at our reception spot, but she diligently got to work contacting all of my "what about ___?" venues and helped me identify pros and cons of booking them instead of keeping everything in one place.

We were interested in doing a few "different" things, and with each weird "can we ___?" question we had, we were met with a "yes" or a "no problem". We wanted a spiral aisle (got it!). We said, "no, we don't want a photo booth- let's do a five senses station!" Rachael and Shannon (her wonderful assistant) waved their magic wands and it was done!

I am so happy to have had Rachael to fix all of the details at my wedding. I worked with her for months, and she helped me find stylists, a DJ, a photographer, and even get hotels set up for my out of town guests. The day of the wedding, she made sure everyone got where they needed to be on time. And since no wedding day would be complete without some drama, when my husband of only a few hours got overheated and had to lie down in the bridal suite for an hour, she made sure that the DJ kept the guests entertained and that the venue kept food and drink on schedule until we could come down for our first dance and enjoy the rest of the night. Without Glass Slipper, I would have been a mess. Rachael is a true professional!

After reading glowing reviews, I decided to hire Glass Slipper for my day-of coordination needs. Rachael was my main contact from the day I booked until about a month before my wedding, and she was absolutely amazing. So professional, and detail oriented. She never missed a beat. Via Skype, I was introduced to Lauren, who would be there for the rehearsal dinner and the big day itself. Lauren was nice and I was looking forward to handing her the reigns and trusting her judgement.

We had a lot of fantastic vendors. Unfortunately when it came to Glass Slipper, I found myself disappointed. First off, I has essentially no contact with Lauren on the day of the wedding. At all. I got emotional greeting some special guests at our rehearsal the night before and for some reason she saw me as "distraught" and decided to speak only to my bridal party.

I know she wanted to keep me from being stressed, but as the bride, I am the only one who knows 100% of what's supposed to happen. A simple 20 minute convo on the phone would have cleared things up. However, she made assumptions, and most of them were incorrect. I made sure she got the license before the wedding event started (which started late, and we still don't know why).

But at the reception before making the blessing before dinner, the pastor asked over the mic if anyone knew where the license was. Apparently she had never given it to him. There were lots of details I had planned very thoroughly that she didn't seem to agree with and so she just didn't follow through. The worst was the cake. We ordered enough cake for 145 guests (if we ordered something smaller, it would have been too-little cake).

Since we had 100 guests, we were just going to cut the slices bigger. Instead, Lauren allowed them to cut the slices half an inch thick. It wasn't until everyone left that we realized that we had a quarter of a half sheet and the ENTIRE two-tier cake left (we had specifically said that were NOT keeping the top layer). We had to stuff it in our freezer while we were on our honeymoon.

And on top of that, people wondered why we were so stingy with the cake. I didn't get to talk to Lauren before she left about my issues, and it was too late to change any of them by the time I heard about or saw them. So I sent she and Rachael an email. Lauren was very defensive and blamed everyone else for my concerns, but she especially blamed me.

She didn't want to support my decisions, and she wasn't willing to even apologize for the mistakes that occurred during her watch. No one else had the final say so but her, but it was still my fault somehow. It left a bad taste in my mouth to be treated so poorly. I loved Rachael, but would not use them again.

Amazing! Aleetha and cristine are top notch and so fantastic. They were my makeup artists for me and my girls and moms. We had 9 people in total, and they kept us on track with timing and never rushed anything. We requested natural looks because we don't wear much makeup and they nailed it. Everyone looked beautiful. I also have very sensitive skin and with their airbrush, i felt NOTHING on me. Cristine worked her magic and I'll admit, i glowed!

I'm so happy with how everything turned out. And to top it off, they are so fun and personable which is important when you spend your early morning of your wedding day with them! They're sweet and professional and keep it fun. Love them and keep recommending to other brides!
