We used the Farmhouse Inn to host our big family weekend getaway and it was AMAZING! There were 13 of us in total and we all found activities that were perfectly suited for each of us and all had a truly wonderful time : We will definitely be back and I think we all agree this could easily become a new annual tradition!

What a delightful and well-stocked cottage we stayed in at Farmhouse Inn this past Memorial Day weekend. So relaxing. And the sounds of the animals surely calmed us down from the hectic city life. Breakfasts by owner Leslie were delicious and their dog Mudpie was the biggest and most gentle dog we've met in a long time. We'll be back.

We were very glad to find this place in planning our trip. The experience has even exceeded our expectations. The breakfast is awesome. But it is not just a bed and breakfast place. You have to take some time to enjoy the whole property. It is a unique memory.

Farmhouse Inn was terrific. Host greeted us as soon as we arrived and gave us a map tour of the 100 acre farm. She spruced up our room with healthy snacks, drinks, and two bouquet of fresh flowers in the room. The Americana room was as described newly finished with cold AC and new bedding. The view from the room was a garden view on one side and a open field with barn on the front.

We watched peacocks, guinea, horses, goats, chickens, mules, ducks, and cows from the window. Bring your boots to get to the dock then enjoy a canoe or kayak ride while birding or fishing. WONDERFUL spot for a serenity walk of paddle. We would suggest this accommodation for anyone in this area.

We loved the place (just left today 2/26/2022). Theyre doing some upgrading but it didn't matter. Our stay was amazing, GREAT breakfast, great atmosphere, and extremely friendly people! Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Farmhouse Inn. The property has undergone significant updating and renovations by the new owners. It is evident that they have done a lot to improve both the inside and outside spaces. Our room and the common area were very clean and comfortable. The staff and friendly and helpful, but don't smother you. Breakfasts were delicious.

The surrounding land is beautiful with rolling hills, ponds, farm animals, and an experiential walking trail. The whole scene is very relaxing. Even the outside dogs who protect the chickens are chill. Location of this B&B is ideal for visiting restaurants and shops in historic Madison. Athens is just a short 30 minute drive on scenic roads. This property is perfect for a couples get away, friends weekend, or a family reunion. It would also be good for a wedding or maybe even a company retreat.

This is a wonderful place to stay for business or for pleasure. This was a business retreat. Our 3rd time at the Farmhouse Inn. There were 7 of us and we rented the Farmhouse and also used the Garden and Americana Rooms. All rooms are very comfortable. The Farmhouse has a large kitchen table and good size living room to work, relax or play games. If the weather is nice there are many options for outside work or fun.

Have a nice walk, watch the farm animals, enjoy a warm fire or bond fire at night. Breakfast is always delicous! The new owner/Innkeeper Leslie is awesome. This is a great place to take a family for a vacation, but works good for business too. Highly recommend!

I took my 3-year old for a quick mother-daughter weekend at the Farmhouse Inn, and we can't wait to go back. We stayed in the Americana Room, which was comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped (including mini-fridge & coffee maker with freshly ground coffee & fresh cream). The breakfast each day was delicious, and the farm-fresh eggs from their chickens were especially memorable.

My kiddo loved feeding the chickens, petting the horses, and paddling on the "bicycle boat." There are 2 friendly dogs, peacocks walking around under twinkly lights, plenty of spots for a picnic, and incredibly friendly & helpful staff. We had a truly magical weekend.

We just stayed this past weekend at the 100 acre farm and let me tell you it was SO peaceful and relaxing. It is under new ownership and Leslie makes an AMAZING breakfast, she even accomodated by gluten free need with the most delicious strawberry walnut bread. Everything we needed (extra water, some extra sheets after we spilled something on it) she was so quick to supply.

The tire swing was a huge hit with my five year old, I bet she spent a total of three hours out there swinging. I really enjoyed the trails and my morning walks and the animals are so fun. They are renovating the entire property and I can't wait to see when it's done! Definitely go, you won't regret it! We are going back in October!
