I had my wedding 2 days ago at Gregor's Garden Grove which was a very nice and accommodating venue that I loved. However the DJ that they referred for the event, DJ Johnny K was our DJ and I can't believe how unimpressed and disappointed I was with him. My husband and I gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear for our special day. This list was long enough that he could have simply just played our list and it would've lasted the entire length of the reception.
I only heard about 4 songs from my list. At least 5 people went up and asked him to please play the bride and groom's list as they all realized how much it meant a lot to us. He still continued to play whatever it was he thought we wanted to hear. I would never, ever recommend this person to DJ your event and if anything I feel we are owed a refund but I'm not expecting he would even honor our request for that. We paid for him to eat at our wedding reception and I'm disgusted that we even compensated him for such a disappointment. It really ruined what otherwise was a perfect day.

Took care of our wedding reception and we were thoroughly impressed with everything. He was always available, responded quickly, had suggestions and made the entire process painless. Some reviews here seem to imply that he took no requests, but I can say that wasn't the case for us. He had people on the floor all night long and played everything we wanted as well as requests from our guests. I would definitely recommend him with confidence.

We had a fun time with DJ Johnny playing the dance songs we love. The guests were pleased, and Johnny was happy to play their requests and dedications. Loved everything from that old time rock and roll to the disco and new dance songs. The sound equipment he provided sounded excellent and wasn't overkill. Just enough lights for the dance area without the outdated "cheesy" uplights. All were able to talk and hear during cocktails and dinner, plus announcements were clear! Thank you DJ Johnny K. highly recommend!
