Briggs Tent & Party Rental

Reserved a Insulated Food Transport for a wedding reception. When we stopped to pick it up the day before, they were closed, even though the posted hours stated they were open. We then had to scramble last minute to find a way to keep reception food warm. We left several messages to try to schedule another pick up time, but no response.

Called to get a quote on a tent.the guy who answered asked if i needed lighting, tables, chairs, etc. so he could quote me. (pricing on these things are in the catalog besides the tents) he's called me back 3x asking the same questions if i needed tables, chairs, linens! still no quote on a tent which was the only thing i asked for.

Worst costumer service ever. Wasted an entire month talking to different people only for them to tell me they were fully booked. The lost my information. The first couple people said getting a tent rental for our wedding wouldn't be an issue, but by the time they finally had their designer call, it was all booked up. They could have ruined our entire wedding.

And when questioned why they strung me along for so long, their response was "Did you have a signed contract?" How do you sign a contract when they don't ever call back. I will never call them again.

Called 3 times and talked to a gentleman who said each he would have lady call me back with prices. On 4th attempt he said "oh, didn't she call you yet ( this was over a month period )! I'll walk this note over to her and hand deliver it myself so she calls you." Been another month and still no call. Can't imagine why anyone would want to hire them based on that.

Rented Chairs and table coverings for our son's wedding on July 14, when we put the chairs out there were several that were split on the back and could not be used and they were dirty so we had to clean all of them. The table coverings were stained and we had to make a special trip to another store to buy another table covering to place over the top to hide the stains.

We called them immediately on Friday and they told us there was nothing we could do and would have to talk to the owners on Monday. When the owners were contacted they were rude and told us we should have uncovered all the chairs to make sure they were ok and should have done the same with the tablecloths. We also ordered chair covers and they forgot to get them. If I could give them a negative i would. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE

Briggs Tent is a first class organization. We have worked with them for 10 years setting up for an annual BBQ event. They are generous in their time and support and making sure we get everything we need.

For example, From building a rent & installing flooring around a tree that cannot be cut down. It became a visual show piece for the event rather then being a problem.
