I drove 2.5 hours just to come to this location but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My experience was awful and honestly ruined dress shopping for me. I will add that one of the workers was very sweet and helpful when she noticed I was unhappy.

As soon as I walked in I was immediately judged by the thin manikin that did not represent my body type. I am 4'11" on a good day, have size 40 HH bust, and dress size 24, once again, that is IF I fully relieve myself, not eat McDonald's for breakfast and lunch, AND run around my bedroom (0.002 miles!). I was a little deterred but decided to take those first few steps in and fill out the form at the front desk to the left of the sofa on the right.

It was hard to see some of the beautiful brides, but I love to judge, so I knew I was representing brides of today and squashing 21st Century stereotypes that society places on women. (Happy International Women's Month ESPECIALLY TO MY PLUS-SIZED QUEENS). Anyways, there was surprisingly a great selection of gowns. Due to my body proportions, I knew a sheer, mermaid, strapless, some lace, and sparkly dress would be perfect.

My consultant was amazing. I felt super comfortable in the dressing room and they had plenty of fabric to cover my back as many dresses did not close completely. Don't get me wrong, I still felt empowered. That WAS until I realized I was wearing a size 26 gown. I am NOT a size 26! 24 is the biggest I have EVER BEEN and that was the period of my life when I WAS PREGNANT and had FREQUENT PANIC ATTACKS.

I was insulted and belittled. The consultant kept informing me that "bridal runs small." I don't think so hun. I went on the Keto diet for Lent so back off! Well, I am going to give Brides and Belles of Tyler 1 star because I felt people were making fun of me for my acne and bacne.

My granddaughter couldn't find the dress in the store, but these lovely ladies told her if she found the dress they could order it. we searched their site for the dress, I say we found it! The ordering process was easy, and they call us to pick up pretty quickly. She loved it! Thanks so much!

After having a failed experience at David's bridal in tyler I made a Saturday appointment here and I found my dress! The staff was so incredibly helpful they have a huge variety of dresses in all shapes, styles and price range! I highly, highly recommend this bridal shop! They also have prom, bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos next door and that is where we plan to go for the rest of our wedding party!

The service here is wonderful! After trying on three dresses, I found the one with the perfect fit. They even steamed and stored my dress for free! Thank you so much!

Made an appt probably 2-3 weeks in advance came in so excited only to be let down answered so many questions assuming they would have dresses pulled for my appt only to come in and be openly handed off as if i was a burden didnt try any dresses on was told no dress could have sleeves that i liked none could be in my color no effort what so ever place doesnt even deserve a reveiw just would like to warn other brides of the unpreparedness and poor selection especially being a plus sized bride!

Terrible place. So disappointed. Id like to add they did not have any dresses in my size that could come in black. I was willing to try on white dresses but there was no point in trying on a dress i did not like the style of. I should have been informed of the issue with black dresses when making the appt. I am well aware it is not a common request. I did find my dream dress tried on white but purchased in black at a different location. Because they had plenty of plus size options to try on in white.

0/10 experience. I made my appointment a week and a half in advance. When I got there we got no help, and my "assistant" was MIA the whole time. She did not help me look for a dress and wasn't around to help me get dressed and undressed. I tried on one dress and literally had to call my mom back in the dressing room to help me get out of the dress, because once again.

I had no assistant tending to me. After that I put my clothes back on and walked out. Brides, if you are looking for a personal, one on one experience. I advice you to NOT go here! Total waste of my time.

Beautiful store, very good about answering there phones. Recommendation on alterations was very good. She did an amazing job. However, she is last minute. I wasn't able to pick up my dress until the day before because of the number of times she had cancelled on me. It was worth the wait but would like this area to improve!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Please do not go in here if you are not super skinny, because apparently it is unheard of for a bigger girl needing a bridesmaid dress. Not only was the woman helping me extremely rude to me about my size and being insistent that the dress was not going to fit me (which it did fit) but she was also running around the store basically yelling that there were no dresses "big enough" for me and that they didn't have anything big enough for me.

She made me feel super insecure and extremely embarrassed. My friends who were with me were even uncomfortable with the way she was making me feel. So please, spare your time and feelings and do not go here if you are not supermodel skinny.
