Overpriced dresses made in Myanmar, a country known for widespread child labour. Sloppy craftsmanship and low quality polyester textiles. Fabric like this costs less than $1/yd wholesale. Also the order was damaged in shipping, due to the long delays in delivery, we had to make do. All in all a poor experience for our wedding party. Our recommendation is to not use Bari Jay for your bridal needs, better bang for your buck elsewhere.

Bari Jay Fashion has become my favorite brand to shop from for an evening affair to being a bridesmaid. I love the fact most of their styles have pockets, as well as how comfortable they are. The dresses are true to its size. I love seeing how amazing each style looks on every girl. Bari Jay has not once let me down, they know how to make you feel beautiful and elegant.

I just want to give Tammy Watts a shout out for helping us with the Kelly Kreation's MESS. Long story short Kelly from Kellys Kreations (Brooklyn) took my girls money (and mine) and never got our dresses. She stole our money. However, Bari Jay has been nice enough to get the girls their dresses at a bit of a discount so that the girls don't feel the full blow of having to shell out the whole retail price again.
My girls lose some money, but will have their dresses. Had Bari Jay not have stepped in, we would be screwed. Buyer beware, Kelly from Kellys Kreations is a crook! Thank you so much Tammy for all of your help, especially as you have received at least 1 phone call a day from me for the past week! We cannot thank you and all of Bari Jay enough!

I wish you could this dump negative stars. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO RUN AROUND STRESSING AND WORRYING ABOUT BRIDESMAID DRESSES. I ordered my girls' dresses since Dec '12 from Here Comes the Bridesmaid. It is now April 30 and my wedding is May 4 and my girls' dresses aren't here yet. 1st they sent me the dresses all wrong, they sent me 1 dress that was completely wrong and the others 7 had the colors in the wrong place.
Every time I called I was told something else. I'm so aggravated and annoyed. Don't waste your time, your better off going to David's Bridal. This is every bride's nightmare, so save yourself the trouble.

I would never buy Bari Jay dresses again. The manager hung up, and owner was extremely rude, it was all about her, knows nothing about customer service and did not understand that their size chart is incorrect, our dresses were way too big after very careful experienced measurements were taken. They were $200 each and she called me cheap for ordering online instead of bridal boutique.
We needed $100 each to alter. The dresses look cheap, and they can never be worn again, label says no washing or dry cleaning. The worst customer service ever, be careful with their charts.

HORRIBLE! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered five Bari Jay bridesmaids dresses, style number 103, in a well-known bridal boutique in a suburb of Chicago. I had been doing business with this bridal boutique for the past few years so the fact that they carried Bari Jay dresses made my decision to buy them all the more simple. The dresses were lovely and the price was reasonable.
I placed the order in January of 2011. With my wedding on June 25, 2011, I figured I would have plenty of time. Unfortunately, my initial excitement about the Bari Jay gowns was quickly diminished by the lack of the company's unprofessionalism and customer service. When the bridal boutique ordered the dresses, I watched with a close eye to make sure every size and color was verified.
I ordered the dresses in the color Dusty Rose. After months of waiting and continuous replies of "They're on their way, " from Bari Jay customer service, the dresses finally arrived in the beginning of May but in the wrong color. The company sent the dresses in the color Rose, not Dusty Rose, which the owner of the bridal boutique specifically told the sales rep of Bari Jay.
After calling Bari Jay about the dresses, the sales rep completely denied that it was her mistake and blamed the bridal boutique. I found it quite interesting that in all my years of doing business with this bridal boutique, I had never had a problem until now dealing with Bari Jay company. Thankfully, the dresses were shipped back right away and I was promised new dresses by May 20th.
At this point, I wasn't surprised when May 20th came and the dresses were still not in. One week later, no dresses. Two weeks later, no dresses. With my wedding being less than a month away and five bridesmaids needing alterations, one bridesmaid needing her dress shipped across the country to California, I started looking for another dress at local department stores.
I was convinced that the dresses wouldn't be in on time for my wedding. On top of it, the customer service for Bari Jay was completely rude and unprofessional. The bridal boutique called and emailed the company several times and received no response. When they finally got a hold of someone, the representative refused to let the owner of the bridal boutique speak with a supervisor saying "I don't have a supervisor." When she asked to speak to the owner of the company, the representative said that the owner didn't have time.
One would think that a company that deals specifically with weddings would be timely and compliant with the bridal boutiques that carry their dresses. I must admit that I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Bari Jay. The bridal boutique that I purchased these dresses from couldn't apologize enough; however, we never received one apology from the company Bari Jay, who was at fault for everything.
As a bride dealing with numerous wedding vendors and companies, Bari Jay was, by far, the worst company to deal with. It was such a shame because the dresses really are beautiful. I would not recommend Bari Jay to others specifically due to their lack of customer service and promptness.
